The survivor horror game has been done. But why frown on a studio for making a better one? one that is more in line with what we want to see out of a survivor horror game? I honestly don't get you people.
Try playing it now... it was my favorite too. It just doesn't work anymore. The steering is awful, the whole game is awful. It was amazing when it came out though. But seriously, right now, as someone with all of the GT games in their library, GT5 is the only one that is really playable in 2011.
..your avatar forces us to remember there was a game called haze. I hate you for that :-) . You should totally get GT5, that is, if you like the DRIVING part of racing games. If you like the pimp my ride portion of racing games more than the driving, don't bother. Get Need For Speed Carbon or something. Personally its hard for me to stop playing GT5. A wheel is almost necessary.
Just got done playing GT5 in my game room. 100inch 3D HD projector, 1000watt surround sound, and a Logitech wheel. GT5 looks and plays incredible in 3D...especially when the screen takes up your entire field of view...lol Cant wait for the new DLC/patch/game update.

the force feedback should prevent you from turning it so easily more than what the simulation allows for at any given speed. If it doesnt there is a weird disconnect and that is what i was seeing in this video. I will be getting F4 because I have every platform except Wii and get games I want to get. I'm interested in the Top Gear/Jalopnik tie-ins as well as the customization options. I'm also looking forward to the GT5 2.0 update coming this month.

- AI is better.
- Damage is real time.
- There are more tracks and variations then ever including day/night cycles, rain, dirt, snow.
- Online..its like 16 players..I can do remote racing from any PC in the world against my friends AI drivers as well. GT never had online before.

2. The car models in the garage/viewer, whatever you want to call it are ultra high res models that you do NOT see while in game play. That should probably be mentioned before too many people get disappointed.

I agree here. I would like the v6 2011 camry, the 2011 sonata, 2011 equis, genesis sedan, jenesis coupe, new dodge charger, new crystler 300, 2012 beetle, nissan juke, and the hyundai veloster. I'm sure there are a lot more...perhaps the 2011 taurus SHO. In general, there's a lack of late model sedans in the game. On a personal note, id pay 20 bucks for a 2003 sonata v6. Lol

Seriously. I play games exclusively on a 100inch hd projector. The game looks phenominal. In fact, I would argue its the one of the best looking game that big on a console. Flower is pretty mezmorizing at that size. The only game I own that is a jaggy mess is halo: reach. But it looks fairly jaggy on the 32 inch.
cloud computing and game streaming will never catch on with the way ISPs are limiting monthly bandwidth caps. Such limits with also limit growth.
Carmack makes patcher look like a decent pedictor.
