You dont "make bank". you make as much as you would at any other established studio. Working on a COD game though can do wonders for your career if your version is better/sells more than other ones.
its only a "big deal" when one console is rocking 60, and the other 30. because it PROVES the enormous performance difference between these two consoles. a ps4 game running at a locked 30 would look as good as a game the xone struggles to get to 15fps. thats exciting.

blops 2 was insanely fun. made me stop playing battlefield. 700+ hours logged in steam. then along comes ghosts.. what a disaster. sluggish, clunky, bad perks, bad kill streaks ugh what the hell.
"you" = illogical xbox defenders. Same group of "you" who were attacking the ps3 when EA wouldnt get their head out of their ass and make a quality port for ps3. If you didnt take part, you shouldnt feel the need to defend the "you" this guy is talking about.
It matters. When given a choice between the same game, but one has half of the pixels, it matters a lot. What reason is there for limiting the visual fidelity? Its like having one game output in surround sound, the other in stereo. Why the hell would I want to spend the same amount of money(in this case more) to experience something to a lesser extent?
Thats was the ENTIRE POINT of psnow. to enable backwards compatibility for older games on new hardware. New games on the service would simply be an added bonus.

I treat my electronics with great care. Yet, both of my DS4's left sticks are eating themselves. My 360 controller is also eating itself, but it took about 4 years for that to happen. Gears was only ever popular to begin with because there was NOTHING ELSE to play on 360. Unreal looked much better than gears. But you would have had to of played both games to know that.
modnation was NOT a mess. It was good. Only big problem was long load times and they addressed that pretty quickly.
