im not sure if you guys are being sarcastic or not.
worst thing for me immersion-wise for racing games is the lack of g force. it really makes a huge difference. given the choice between feeling the Gs and VR, id pick the Gs. though, to be honest, I play GT6 in 3d with a wheel and love it. so...yeah lol
thats the reason i bought a car..
uth11,
Loading can happen while you're flying down into the planet. Instead of thinking about "no loading", think about it as "always loading". Its easier to grasp that way.
It means that objects being drawn by the game(rendered) will react to real-world lighting conditions that exist outside of the game. So, you have a dinosaur thats being rendered on your living room floor. If someone turns on the light in the living room, the dinosaur's lighting and shadows will react accordingly. This makes the augmented objects look far more believable and raises the immersion for AR games. Its basically the difference between "Marry Poppins" and "Transfor...
im super happy this month. lots of vita love!
I see a lot of butthurt in here. I wasnt aiming to offend your precious computers. Oh well. I've been a PC gamer primarily since I built my own gaming PC in 1999. PS4 has changed that. I played BF4 on the PC, and I play it on PS4. I happen to enjoy the experience way more on the PS4. I bought BF3 for 360, PS3, and PC. Diablo 3 is incredible on the PS4. I dont know, I guess I've just never been a snob about things. I dont have some sort of emotional relationship with some goddam hardwa...
No. There are FPS games, yes. FPS games are still just a category. Games are pretty evenly split, except RPGs for the moment. If all you see is FPS, I would suggest its the people you hang out with, or the ads you see.
well, as made apparent in this thread, the PC has a lot of elitist douches that actually suck at video games.
well, a lot of people like myself are finally getting tired of upgrading their PCs every damn year. It gets old. That and lots of great indie games AND AAA games are coming out for PS4. And you know what? PS4 games dont look half bad. Most of them are pretty much indistinguishable unless you're gaming on a 4k PC that costs the same as a used car. Also, wayyyyyyy less cheaters and cheat paranoia. I get kicked from COD matches on PC because they think I cheat. Not the case when I play BF4 o...
if you remove "type gamers" from your sentence, it might be somewhat accurate.
better late than never! :-D
" just don't think that I want to go that deep."
and how does your girlfriend feel about THAT?
Did you just stroke out?
I havent found a class i dont like. All super fun. THE LOOT!
SO MUCH FUN.
the difference between motion gaming and VR, is that motion gaming requires you to get up off the couch. VR just provides the optimal 3D experience and immersion. VR > motion gaming for the core gamer.
it had to have passed DICE QA, EA QA, then Sony 3rd party QA. Here's the deal though, its possible to get certain things "waved" under certain conditions. Also, the test servers likely werent stress tested for long enough. Sony has last time I knew, about 60 online 3rd party testers in their department. If they did a 64p match, they likely didnt do it for more than a couple hours.
I can tell you that the 3rd party test teams at sony are pretty good. most studios think their build is thoroughly tested until it hits 3rd party qa, then sony has to send them back.
not sure how he misunderstood
