I've stayed interested in GT4 for a LONG ass time. Its totally possible.
thats like, just your opinion, man.
seriously though, destiny is diablo 3 with guns in the FPS perspective. Once you realize that, you "get" it and can have a freaking blast playing co-op with friends.
realistically, there are 2 reasons that MS would want to buy minecraft:
to stop updating it(slowly), immediately start working on "minecraft 2", release it next year exclusively on XB1 to hopefully get some people(younger generation for brand loyalty) buying XB1's
OR
MS is getting out of the hardware game(super duper unlikely) and wants to support their move with a super strong IP with an incredibly large fanbase.
visually, F5 and Horizon dont hold a candle to this. Gameplay is preference. I'm pretty interested in The Crew, but I think(depending on gameplay) that Driveclub will be my go-to racer until Project Cars challenges it.
I'm so terrible at the PVP. I need to level up some more first.
i dont understand how someone disagreed with that.
"ill quit!" bunch of liars. just like everyone quit playing EA games the dozens of times its f*cked us. EA should be out of business. But they're thriving. They're thriving because you're all full of sh*t.
So, lets get this straight. Project Spark didnt become the minecraft they thought it would so they want the real thing?
you obviously lapped up that top gear BS hype. those games do NOT drive like real cars. cars are not that easy to drift, especially with racing tires. Its ridiculous. I mean, its not Cruisin' USA bad, but its pretty silly. Its designed to make you feel like you're a bad ass driver from the get go.(design choice, not necessarily bad, just dont call it real) Unlike other games that will go unmentioned that require you to LEARN to become a badass driver by giving you an unforgiving and V...
who made the first horizon? turn 10? it was a HUGE letdown. Honestly. NFS Rivals was much more solid and fun.
thats forza at work. its like gran turismo had weird sex with riiiiiiiiidge racer. ridge racer's genes show more when you're cornering.
the argument can be made for content. But thats where the argument ends.
after the letdown that was horizon one, a sequel to that game doesnt make me sad that I dont have an XB1 to "enjoy" another one of turn-10's titles. I will never forgive them for leaving out gearing tuning in horizon 1. SO stupid. The fact that they can make such a stupid decision the first time around means there are plenty of stupid decisions to disappoint you when you pick up this title and actually get into the meat. Someone else needs to take over the Horizon games.
it kills halo though. But the style you can see where it comes through. I love the gunplay. It feels...right.
i have a problem with the "retro" cop out. At least get someone to draw some nice looking 16bit art. Enough of this 8bit trash. Its lazy. Games on the Genesis looked REALLY great sometimes. I would like more of that. I love 2d game play, but not when its half assed.
people DO support indies. Look at minecraft...you just have to make a GOOD indie with broad appeal. The nature of the indie game is to generally appeal to smaller audiences with specific artistic tastes.
its an online FPS with features ripped from MMOs. (instances, quests, looting, parties, etc.) And its an absolute blast to play. Also, its REALLY well polished. Theres little things you notice if you're looking that just adds up to creating a very unique and immersive environment for a shooter. Walking on the moon, you can see your footprints as well as the footprints of your fireteam in the moon dust. the way the light reflects off guns, and your visor, etc. Just really great. This is my...
ah ok. lol your reasoning confused me! destiny is a lot of fun if you play online with a friend or two, or just meet new ones and do quests and missions together. I think im in love with the shooting mechanics. speaking of free to play, blacklight retribution is pretty good too.
its worth noting that publishers rate their own performance based on metacritic scores and sales.
if you have friends, you're missing out. I spent 30 mintues last night in one boss fight. it was amazing. I havent been in a fire fight like that since forever. Truly unique experience that is FULL of action.
