"It’s the closest we’ve gotten to a classic Tony Hawk Pro Skater in years, dashing through a city with an eye open for combo-ready lines from rails to walls to air ducts." It wasnt unfounded, you just saw 6.8 and had to hate SOMETHING about his review.
The fact of the matter is that he likes the game, but finds the attempt at comedy incredibly annoying. Me personally, I found the interviews with the devs talking about the game to be annoying. It sounded like a bunch of 12 y...
NOTE: i know jack shit about wrestling. im just oddly excited about this one for no real reason i can think of. maybe its because EA betrayed me and launched a crappy MMA game instead of giving me a new fight night.
Day 1 for me on PS4. I havent played a wrestling game in FOREVER (since the n64). Im ready to layith the smackith down
it sounds like 2K didnt use the SDK properly. *shrugs*
you might need to adjust your sound setup. as far as i know, remote play, ps now, and share play all only have stereo sound. if your system isnt set up for that, you might not hear the sound coming through (my guess)
every developer demanding a service. suddenly, Ubisoft starts asking for a fee to play their games online, since they host the servers, etc. Basically, it eventually becomes mandatory entrance fees on top of buying the game for everyone if you want to enjoy their games. this whole "games as a service" thing is a target for most publishers, and its only designed to please board members and shareholders.
sony talked about how they decided on the 1 hour play time after consulting the major developers and indies alike.
the service sucks not because of what it is, but what it has the potential to turn into. THAT is what sony rejected.
i forgot to take my Z1s out of my pocket at the beach. went in the water. no problems. that was salt water. though, on sony's site, it says that it excludes salt water. so i dont recommend it.
unfortunately, people get laid off when they're successful, too. Another reason staying in the gaming industry sucks. Its not the fear of not having a job, its the fear of not knowing where you're going to be working next year.
every place ive worked:
Metacritic MATTERS
Huge parties for new releases
Sales figures MATTER and are cause for alarm or celebration. It sucks when you work on something that flops. You know your limited time is even mor...
you do realize theres more to take in account than just download speeds, right? your routers can, and likely are, huge pieces of shit. also, id spend more time arguing with you, but its pointless, as you probably made this bullshit up. lol i can play PSNow and remote play on my DSL and that shit is crystal clear.
I like their new AR stuff. I upgraded from a Z1s, which was a fine machine in itself. But the Z3 just crushes it in overall quality.
as an industry *vet*, I can tell you its MUCH crazier inside of the companies than it is on the outside. everyone in these companies are pouring their heart and soul into their products. working tons of overtime, etc. to try to one up the other guy. some people like myself leave gaming because its simply too stressful in the long term. good times can be had though!
sony should focus on 3rd party bonus content. honestly, they already have a ton of exclusives in the pipeline. the battle is going to be won convincing people that games are better on the PS4.
just got my Z3 :-D
its going to perform exactly like PSNow for players. The only difference is that host's connectivity speeds are not set in stone. So quality is reliant on BOTH parties.
thats the entire site there at Kotaku. Its a gaming hipster site.
Death,
I dont think you actually understand the feature. At all. Stop commenting. hahaha
my ideal game is about 6 to 8 hours long(single player portion) and is story heavy and fairly linear. does infamous satisfy these cravings? i feel like most games are entirely too long(RPG's excluded)
darth, you need to tell that little gem to the rest of the internet then. there are lots of people in forums comparing it to tony hawk, in a good way. i dont know why that offends you, it isnt an insult, its the best thing about the game. tony hawk was awesome. you might want to play infamous again. at least the first one. that game plays a LOT like SSOD when you are trying to traverse quickly. jump, boost, rail slide. the main difference is there are no trampolines and you generally move slo...
