Been saying this for years. Different games need different prcies. The default price for all new games is ridiculous. Of Course Ill pay 60$ For the Metal Gears, Halo's, and GTA's. But I will not pay 60$ for a new copy of "Pimp my Ride" lower quality games need a lower pirce, its the only way to get the consumer to buy it, other than a used copy from Gstop.

Lol, looked at this on My Iphone and all it showed was Mass Effect Two.... I was misled. Oh well still a great game,and anawesome deal. This is definitely a game that got thrown under the bus by Halo 3 and Call of duty 4. If you don't have it I highly suggest you pick this up.
Anybody who does really care if that person is as good as his gamercard says, will go through there played games and see where most of his GS or Trophy collection came from.
For instance I automatically dismiss any 360 gamer who has Avatar in there played game list. Since you can get 1000 points in 5 mins.
Everyone here knows damn well that there's people who don't even bother to get achievements, or trophy's and just go straight to MP. Most likely he's gonna pwn you, because that's all he does is play that one game's MP. Then you look at there Gamercard and it says they have 300 GS, or 2 Bronze trophy's. Ok this guy plays one game, and he's still good. Trophy's and achievements do not show skill, rather they show dedication.
That's what the Achievements themselves are for. To show skill. For instance beat so and so game on the hardest difficulty.I have a GS of over 35k and a good chunk of that is from getting 1000's in the games I love and putting in the work for getting the hardest achievment. I.E Mile High Club, Beat Mass Effect on Insanity, and so forth. There the same god damn thing. Ahievements = Trophys.

Yeah for now. It's obivous the the Dev Team behind WiiPlay has made way more profit the even GTA. With having a smaller team and a lower dev cost there's more of the pie to go around to everyone. How long until other third party dev's catch on and actually make good games for the wii. As soon as CoD or Madden is actually good on the Wii you'll see them starting to abandoned the other two consoles, it's just smart busniess, bigger install base, lower dev cost= bigger profits.
Yeah your right New IP's for MGS (Microsoft Game Studios) are what they need. I Have yet to see a Role Playing experience Like Mass Effect on the PS3. Anyways who f'n cares. Buy your system get some games and STFU.

Agreed, I hate seeing this game in Multiplayer game of the year nominees, because for one IT still doesn't work with my router, even though hmm Left 4 Dead, Cod4&5,Halo 3, Gta4, Dead or Alive 4, Resistance 2, MGO, LBP all work. Two when I do get in a game (has to be wingman splitscreen for it to work) the game is so glitched out, that I've been Melee'd and grendade tagged through walls (No lie) and I've seen my shotgun's blast hit the ground when I aim at the sun (WTF?). Gears 2 is broke....
No, its just that MGS4, GeoW2, Res2, Fable 2, Left4Dead, GTA4, and Fallout 3,are better games for the hardcore gamer. Hence the the reference in the title to "Hardcore" gamers.
This is what will happen if Nintendo's crappy shovelware like WiiPlay continue to outsell the the MGS's, the GTA's, the Halo's, the Bioshocks, these games and these experiences will dissapeer. Developer's are already starting to notice that you can still sell millions of copy's of a crappy games to retards with a dev cost of $100. Me being the Hardcore RPG and FPS fan, wants those big name games, so I will continue to support the consoles that offer me those experiences,so devs can still see...

C'mon the fact that the 360 supports Achievments for EVERY game, and that is easily accesible to not only compare ahcievements with friends but with randmom people, makes achievements the winner hands down.
True story here. I created my WLID when 360 was launched November 05. I have not even used that account since, except for activation. As a matter of fact, I forgot the password and the answer’s to my securtiy questions. So that account is way past dead, I am still able to log into my Xbox live account and collect achievements. Don’t beleive look at my GT, GS. ThatLaLaLa. Unless your kid has over 10,000, tell him to make a new account.
The only way ill play is If I can use a Keyboard and mouse. Console MMO's are just.... hmmmm "Clunky".
