True enough, I see both Sony and MS setting up some sort of "digital renting" like they already do with movies. Which if, it's cheap is awesome. No more waiting for Gamefly to finally send you the game you want or trolling the rental store because they dont have a copy.

If you dont have a broadband connection in 2013... wtf do you own a game console. I understand if your taking it to a cabin or on vacation or on a trip, but if you live in a first/ or even second world country, get some fuckin internet.
you only lose access to online portions of your games(like being a silver). Now if you dont have the license for "said game", on your HD that no you cannot play.
For live it depends on your "Zone", Pro and Underground can get a away with non-discriminatory insults, but the other zones can and will get you banned. As far as cheaters go, if you get caught all your achievement points get wiped, your unable to earn those back and in your motto you get labeled "Cheater" for everyone to see.
