the first DLC was free. Considering that this is for Christmas I'd expect the same. (Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't though.)

You can play the DVD version in the PS2 and the Blu-ray version in the PS3.

Heck, I knew it after the first stage! The trademark "Sha-mohn" and "Whoo" back-to-back was a huge tip off.
They had so many compatibility issues on HD-DVD players and cost more to produce than simply putting a DVD in with the Blu-ray. People rebelled the first time they introduced them and Universal pulled back on them.
I hate not having disc art, and I hate trying to read the inner ring to know which side I'm wanting to play. People hated DVD-18's too. That's why Warner and Paramount stopped using them as well.
