The Scorpio is said to be set for release this December. The PS5 won't see the day of light before earliest late 2018-mid 2019 (my guess). So it made more sense to match-up PS4 Pro Vs Scorpio.

In the past consoles didn't upgrade mid gen, so if yours was the most powerful then it would stay that way until the next generation. Now we'll likely see upgraded versions every 24-36 m...
