Sorry, meant to say Big Boss, just caught the mistake

I wonder if David Hayter was voicing Snake would the review score be any different?

Regardless of how much people argue it's a "demo" I will judge with my own experiences.

So I'm not the only one who experienced this then; I had it occur with Resogun and Zen Pinball. Saves were there however the games vanished, and I know I didn't delete them. Good news is at least someone else is reporting this so it can at least be investigated.

After reading the article I'm so glad I don't base my opinions on just review scores. I prefer some type of video and/or demo/renting first. There's so many games I wouldn't have experienced if review scores was my big factor.

As I pointed out in another article, the ultimate troll attempt from Kojima:

Kiefer talks, clears his throat, then David Hayter takes over.

I agree, Square needs to either hire some of their older talent back, or at least hire people that know how to actually make good games. Now that the new CEO took over I'm at least giving them one last chance to at least deliver.

I remember when I first beat Street Fighter 2 in the arcades (with Ryu), back then that was an achievement in itself. If I had the option I'd revive the arcade scene since there's games, and experiences that only the arcade can bring, not a home console no matter how hard devs try to mimic it.

As far as Nintendo dropping out I seriously doubt it, especially since Nintendo is part of the reason gaming still exists today. At most they may go to the handheld market for...

What I miss the most is good games all together; each system brought something to the field which somewhat set the standard for future generations.

It says something about current gen (until better games come out) when I visit what I played back in the before time over what's currently available today.

"Every system has their pros and cons, but the Nintendo consoles are the ones that create true memories." (from the article.)

Really?! I'd vote the arcade scene and PlayStation 1 as much better memories than N64 or even the SNES. While N64 did have some good memories of Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64, and Star Fox 64; the arcade scene brought me to multiplayer outside my home, and PlayStation 1 was the system that brought a more mature theme to gaming while I was g...

So far X is the only game I'm interested in on the Wii U, outside that I really don't see the point in owning the console itself. There's nothing on the shop channel you can't find through other means, and I don't really see other games that even sparked my interest outside one, and I'm not going to spend $ just on one (maybe 2) games.

Especially when the online servers gets shut down (Socom Confrontation/4 comes to mind), then what? I don't like the idea that online trophies even exist, especially when there's gamers who will play just for the trophy; not because they enjoy the game, or because they "want" that item/icon/etc, but because they hear that "ding" then move on to something else.

I did good getting the plat in Fallout 3, pacing myself from 2008-13 before I obtained it (and played the game even before the trophy patch came out.) Some games I can see obtaining some sort of trophy, however there comes a time when you wonder what you could have done with all that time spent just to brag. Granted I'm a gamer, and I do spend most of my time gaming; however I also understand there's a limit, and as you get older there's this thing called responsibilities that c...

Wow, they finally add something to the game AFTER I stopped playing.....

Outside "rumors" can anyone confirm if there is a PS4/XBONE release?

Knowing Ubisoft they will delay Watch Dogs till Nov 2014 to "make the game better" which translates to "we want people buying more Assassins Creed 4 DLC and when those sales slow down then we will release it."

I do hope it gets released in March, next to GZ I need something different to play.

I can see Kojima pulling the ultimate troll move:

Kiefer starts to talk, clears throat, then David Hayter continues.

OT

Can't wait for GZ in March.

What I hate the most is the younger crowd assuming just because they don't know someone on the other end they can mouth off, especially if their parents aren't around. When I was younger I'd mouth back and maybe even get into some type of verbal war; now that I'm older I'll mute and/or report if the harassment continues. When I played FF11 the hardcores would go to a couple of websites to post their business (or vent/brag about picking on someone) however over time peopl...

I prefer single player on 99% of the games I play that have mp components; online mp to me is a bonus, not a requirement anyways. Outside competition or practicing for competition I can live without online mp in the games I play.

What I really want is devs to concentrate on sp campaigns and stop relying on mp for that extra "incentive" to keep playing for another few hours a day; not all games need online to be good/fun.

If there's some sort of compensation for + then I'll think about it; otherwise I'll pass. When I played 11 from 2004-8 I bought maybe 4-5 games total until I could afford the PS3 in March of 2007 (even then I only bought a few games). If the MMO game is good then you won't really need too many other games to pass time; hell I remember spending $156~ a year on 1 game (sub was $13 a month for 12 months), that's way less than me purchasing 2-3 games a month. If you include...

I agree with about 90% of what you stated; release a couple of big budget games a year with smaller games over time to help fund bigger projects.

What we really need is devs who aren't scared to try new things to actually show there's a market for that type of game instead of 1/3rd person shooters with the occasional "odd ball" game that does decent. Or at least visit memory lane with some older titles (as HD remasters or remakes), and use that as a base ...
