I actually like the Game Boy version for what it is. It's the first time Zelda and Gannon weren't in the game at all, but rather referenced. And for those who can't read, BOTH Zelda AND Gannon, not just one or the other (looking at Zelda 2 Adventure of Link). I also like how Princess Daisy was in a pic as someone else, Mario without his hat on as Tarin, Goombas as one of the enemies, Koopa head for the hook shot, Wart from Mario 2 provided a song needed to advance, and other re...
Am I the only one MORE excited for the SF2 collection in May over this SF5 update?
To add to Last_Boss -
There's a lot of modes Alpha 3 has that hasn't made a SF game since, and were actually good additions to the game(s).
Secured my copy.
I can easily explain it in one sentence; "Thinking with dollar signs/pockets will ruin any game."
I actually like New Vegas over 4. If it was a proper remaster I'd buy it in a heart beat and not think twice. My only wish is "if" they bring back New Vegas, have the opportunity to continue after the main story.
I'd buy them for $20, or $2, but not $200 for something I can get custom made for under $100 elsewhere.
Here's how I read it -
"We want gamers, not fanboys/girls."
They want games like Horizon, and Cuphead, not CoD or Battlefield.
The biggest issue with Xbox I have; the games I want to play, are also on PC. So until Xbox has actual, console exclusives that aren't on PC, I'll buy the PC version of the titles I want to play.
I want good, memorable experiences; not flashy eye candy. There's a problem when I can play 16-bit games over the latest-greatest.
Which is a big reason why I decided to never spend money on Fortnite again. They have these daily Llamas advertising what you "could" get; and the guarantees (which rarely appear) cost at least $20+ which the coin packs start at $10 for 1000 coins, and the guarantees are at least 1200+ coins. I like the game, but hate the fact I spent way more money than anticipated for nothing.
At least with Warframe, you know what you're buying; which is why I don't ...
"Blows dust off Akuma and Vega."
Edit - Am I the only one who realized Hyper Street Fighter 2 isn't listed? Not Street Fighter 2 Turbo Hyper fighting, but the version where you pick your SF2 character from the respected SF2 game.
Good thing I skipped over this game. There was so much hype, so much "Bungie/Activision learned their lesson(s)," and so much down voting for people who knew better; yet it's the same garbage as the first game.
I don't mind grinding as long as there's a sense of accomplishment at the end, AND it's rewarding.
1. Exclusives do make a difference, and like the author mentioned you can get them elsewhere (PC). With the PS4 and Switch, they're exclusives aren't available on other platforms. Not "Well PS now is on PC" because it's still built for the PS4 with PC as an option to play it on, not built for PS4 AND PC.
2. 100% agree with this. I wanted Cuphead, however I can buy it on PC/Steam and save $200~ on new hardware.
3. No interest in...
Final Fight
This is what happens when you think with your pockets first. No one should have to pay $60, a season pass, AND loot boxes just to get the "full experience." The argument of "we have families to feed" and other nonsense is for the CEO's, Investors, and management, not the actual employees putting in hours to barely make ends meet. Hopefully this is a wake up call to stop trying to find any way possible to squeeze money out of your fanbase.
The on...
Wishful thinking is a new Soul Caliber, however other people believe a different game.
Depends, because some games (Fallout New Vegas) can have more substance, and more fun factor as opposed to a game with virtually unlimited play time (Fallout 4). Fetch quests doesn't mean better game; but stories do.
I'm so glad I didn't buy into the hype. And with recent reports it seems Bungie didn't learn their lesson.
