Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, I told many people this very thing would happen. They laughed at me.
Now, I laugh back.
The thing you have to remember is that people are buying the PS3 with the intent of playing GTA4 on it. Just to be clear, I want to add people are doing the same with the 360 just not in the same numbers.
I bought my PS3 a long time ago just for this reason alone. The other games I have been playing, that have been great by the way, are just an added bonus.
Believe me when I say PS2 GTA fans far out number xbox GTA fans.
Anyone that can't see that is just fo...
@ Willio
That would be beer math. Must have had a few to many.
lol!
Anyway, thanks for pointing that out for me.
Bubble to you for seeing my tardness! lol
Anyone else think R* will put out downloadable content for the radio stations?
Like new commercials and new chat for the chat stations?
Also new songs for the different radio stations like they are doing with Rock band and GH?
I can see this happening.
This kinda thing just might save the Music industry.
I have been playing Vice City Stories on my PS3 over the past week.
Its the only one I haven't completed.
So far not overly impressed.
I can't wait for GTA4!
I'm all for Microsoft improving their system, but I thought HDMI wasn't needed.
I believe its PS2 owners that were holding out for one game inparticular.
These former PS2 owners, now new PS3 owners, are gearing up for the release of GTA4.
Its so close I, and they, can taste it.
This will continue to be the case because of the great games soon to be released for the PS3.
I have been saying all along that GTA4 is going to move PS3's.
Each month we get closer to release of GTA4 the more PS3's will move and move a lot.
Do I even need to bring up the other games coming out soon on the PS3?
This year will be huge for Sony!
That guy needs to cut back on the Cocaine.
The game sounds fun.

Windows XP was first released on October 25, 2001
On January 30, 2007, Vista was released worldwide to the general public.
So 6 years for a new operating system.
They still support XP because of all the complaints they have had with Vista.
Now the X-box:
How long did the X-box last?
It was released on November 15, 2001
The 360 came out in May 2005. (Microsoft dropped support of the xbox shortly therea...
lol!
Its funny to see that pic again.
I just started playing Vice City Stories again tonight on my PS3. (I have a 60 gig PS3)
The last save I had was from May 2007. I haven't completed the story yet. It was almost a year ago I played it last.
The only reason I stopped playing GTA: VCS is because of the new PS3 games I had to complete.
The only reason I even started playing GTA: VCS again is because I am really wanting to play GTA4 but can't because it isn't out yet.
My point is...
I agree. Great movie.
Game? Inconceivable!
You are dead on with ocelot.
Sam Elliott would be the perfect choice.

By the way, great vids!
My point is that there was no reason to bring that up in this thread being as that had nothing to do with the topic.
Comparing PS3 and 360 is flame when it has nothing to do with the topic.
By the way, I don't ignore anyone.
I like to read funny, irrelevant things by people that don't matter.
@ power of Green
No need to bring up the differences between the PS3 and the 360.
They will look identical, according to R*, and you are baiting conflict in the "Gamer Zone" by bring that up. Please take it to the "Open Zone".
Thank you
jonnyV I agree.
Just because its not as good looking as the games mentioned by Chacron, doesn't mean its not next gen graphics.
You have to remember that the open ended gameplay of GTA takes a lot more resources than the linear stage after stage, move on to the next chapter, games mentioned by Chacron, all great games by the way. The improvements from GTA3, Vice City and SA are huge when you look at, and compare, all the little details.
This will get ga...
Relax people.
It's not like you paid for it.
Sure, they should have made sure it worked properly before they put it up but some of you guys act like you are out $60.
It's a free demo that you don't have to wait a week if you don't pay $50 a year to get right away.
GET OVER IT!
I swear sometimes you guys act like a bunch of whining little girls!
Consumers will continue to purchase physical media for a long, long time.
I'm not saying there will only be physical media.
I'm saying Blu-ray will dominate for many years. (8 to 10 years)
Two years to get HDTV's in homes as the standard.
After that, 6 to 8 years of Blu-ray sales being the format of choice.
I think, after that is when the digital downloads will take over.
HD downloads, by that time, will take a half hour, or less.
