I have two accounts because my master account, where all my credit card info is located, is password protected. I can give my sub account money to spend when needed and spend it right away. Its just a safety measure I came up with.
You never know who might break into your house and steal your things.
I learned that the hard way.
Its funny how someone had to disagree with me.
What did I say that someone could disagree with?
@ Maddens Raiders
I now have two also.
I bought a 40 GB for the family room last week as a Blu-ray player and its awesome!
Now I just need to get my wife into games and we could play against each other online. I would love that.
Maybe someday.
They might drop the 40GB to $299 just because Blu-ray has won.
Just imagine the sales of PS3's if they do it.
It they look at it as a way to get the general population into HD they very well could to it.
It would effect the sales of HDTV's as a result, which they have a vested interest in.
This is months old.
Still cool though.
I have:
High Velocity Bowling
Calling All Cars
But what about:
High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition
I have that one too.
I have Warhawk but its the Blu-Ray version
Does it take into account people with multiple accounts?
I own 2 PS3's and a 360.
The only thing keeping me from buying this game on the 360 is that I would have to pay to play online. I am so against that.
I have it pre-ordered and paid off for the PS3 and I will enjoy the lag free, free online service Sony provides.
Please don't give me that same old excuse of it only being $50 a year because I have heard it over and over again. The way I see it is that $50 a year for the life of the machine, lets say 6 ye...
Bladestar, you have been wrong before.
Give up on this talk before you start to look desperate. Oh wait, too late for that.
Continue on.
Agree!
I will buy this.
I'm so ready for this game!
I really had a great laugh with this one!
You state:
"Digital distribution was toshiba's goal all along too."
Thats funny.
Best spin of the night award goes to Bladestar.
Nice try! lol!
Mark my words:
Toshiba will go Blu-Ray.
Microsoft will go Blu-ray.
Its where the money is now.
They wont pass it up.
Quote me on it if you like!
I WONT be wrong.
lol at the "Jump in" part.
Some day when you mature a little and realize that you really don't need to chose a side you just might
J U M P B 3 Y O N D!
Owning both is the way to go.
Someday you will realize that and I might actually see you online.
Yes, I bought another PS3 today because of Blu-ray winning.
Now I have one for gaming in my game room and one for movies in the family room.
This will happen with a lot of PS3 owners.
The way I see it is that the PS3 is the best Blu-ray player on the market. At $399, you can't beat it.
This just tells me they were never in touch with reality to begin with.
Sad really.
I am willing to bet that Microsoft will put out a Blu-ray player.
Wow!
Mods have been busy in this thread!
I just bought my second PS3 today.
A 40GB PS3 for my family room as a dedicated Blu-ray player.
Now when my wife goes out of town, I can play games on my 42" HDTV, in the family room instead of going down stairs to my game room (32" HDTV)
Why would Microsoft even want to avoid Blu-ray?
They could make a lot of money by selling a Blu-ray add-on.
We all know Microsoft is around to make money so I will ask again.
Why would Microsoft even want to avoid Blu-ray?
@ deeznuts
I have played poker with you on PSN.
I have two PS3's a Xbox 360 and a PSP. I'm not broke.
This was my point:
If it benefits Sony in the overall scheme, I could see them lowering the cost of the PS3 again to $299 to really flood the market with Blu-ray players (PS3's) really quickly (lets say around April 29th or so) ;)
By doing so they would really spur the HD market and the movie sales and rentals they would get with Blu...
