Why Live is so good?
I have never used it but I would definately like a constructive comparison of the 2 so I can "see" why "Live is better then the PSN"
I've only use the PSN and its alright, Nothing special.
But why is Live special?
I can still play all 380 games. Region free.
So TECHNICALLY, is there not 380 games coming out for the PS3?!?

Lets say that the failure rate of the 360 is at a modest 5%
5% of 10 mil is 500,000 consoles that M$ has to pay to ship, repair and send back, how much does it cost M$ to do all of this, who knows.
to be modest again lets say it costs $100 bucks to fix and ship 2x.
$100 x $500,000 = $50,000,000. And I think you can agree that the failure rate is definitely higher then 5%
