Price it too high and the name will only confuse the casual consumers. They will see the "x" right next to the "s" and will most likely get the cheaper console.
FAKE NEWS!
I think that was sarcasm Sheldon
When the PS3 launched it was the most affordable, easiest to find and one of the best BR players on the market. This is not the case with Scorpio, there are 4K BR players at less than half the price. Apples and oranges here.
Clearly that's a VERY low res image blown up and photoshopped onto a Switch. You can't even read the words, you think a game would release where the HUD is unreadable?
As someone who didn't own the Wii U I'd be happy with some ports, but let's be real here. I'd much rather Nintendo be working on NEW Switch games.
It's understandable that the 1st year have ports, all of the Big 3 do it, but by the 2nd year that should go away, or at least be minimized. The only way I'm cool with it is if Nintendo hires an outside dev team to do the porting, but if they keep using internal resources for ports, then that's ...
There are physical versions for the PS4 and Switch, I'm looking at mine for the Switch right now lol
Wow, I never heard of these guys but from watching the trailer they seem to have a lot of talent. This may be the 1st game I support on Kickstarter.
Yes, there are but only through the SE online store: http://www.lostsphear.com/
Hopefully they can do for Spider-Man what Rocksteady did for Batman.
I'm really going to have to start putting in for more OT at work to pay for all the games coming out lol.
I flipped myself, a couple months before launch I trashed it and Nintendo, my comment history reflects that. I could not be happier though, the portability aspect FOR ME is the best thing.
Hell yeah, day one pick up for me. I was planning on getting it on this summer's Steam sale, but I'll now get the Switch version.
Yes!
Well it better be soon and it better be amazing. With 11 days to go they are barely at $167,000 of their all or nothing $1.1m target.
@_-EDMIX-_ , I don't really judge whether or not I buy games by the length. Whether it's 8 hrs or 100 hrs to complete doesn't really matter as long as the story is good. As far as I Am Setsuna is concerned, it's a good story and very charming. Is it on the level of the ones you mentioned, no of course not. But I can tell you I have been playing it a lot and am currently on the last dungeon. It's one of those games for me that I think about when I'm not playing it and b...
@neonridr, don't forget that the Switch launched outside the holidays unlike the X1 and PS4 so side by side tracking isn't exactly even.
@bloop, the fine print on the graph is hard to read, but the survey asks "what is that age and gender of the person who had the strongest desire to purchase a Nintendo Switch?"
That basically says to me, "who's going to be using the system the most". Also, parents obviously buy systems for their kids whether its a MS, Sony or Nintendo product, but I know more kids (middle and especially high schoolers) with PS4s and X1s than Nintendo products.
I think I remember similar comments when the Wii U name was announced. "Wii U where is the confusion". Look how that turned out.
