I'm waiting for Stardew Valley as well, but I am getting Disgaea 5, I already have that pre-ordered. Not a bad month for some solid 3rd party offerings.

With E3 just around the corner I wouldn't expect any new game announcement from any of the big 3.
No E3 conference doesn't mean that they won't reveal anything in during the E3 time frame. They will almost definitely have a Treehouse event. They've been doing this now for a couple years.

I've never seen one in a store in my area, and I've searched even after I bought mine weeks ago (forced to buy from reseller). By the time I get off work in the afternoon everything is gone.

Seriously addicting. I have the base game on my PC, but I prefer the Switch version as it feels like it was made for it.
I honestly think we'll see similar hardware numbers. I think whatever is available is selling. I doubt there is Switch consoles sitting on shelves, they basically sell out what is stocked, which appears to be around 50,000 per week in Japan.
How is the Switch a gimmick? It's the most straight forward console Nintendo has produced since the GameCube.

@ Georeo, I don't need gaming advice or recommendations from employees. I'm very informed on gaming news, rather I'd like employees to at least be aware of promotions, release dates and potential stock in their own department /store. It would also be nice to shoot the shit about games you know?
Support your local mom and pop game shops if you have any. I just found one near me that I didn't know about. I'm going to check it out today, and if I like what I see I will be taking 100% of my video game business there. I'm so tired of dealing with store employees that don't care and have no clue about gaming.
So you think that all the people that wanted to play MK8 played it? You're really wrong on this one. I didn't even own a Wii U and there are many more like me who are coming back to Nintendo after years away. Not only that, but so many who did own a Wii U and play MK8 are getting it again. It seems like the only people who are doubting it are the ones who never owned a Wii U or a Switch.
Yeah 1-2 Switch just wasn't good at all and didn't have the impact Nintendo hoped it would. I'd more than welcome an updated version of Wii Sport, or Switch Sports. It doesn't even have to be Nintendo that makes it, a 3rd party devs could do it. I wish I have dev skills, I'd make it and make a killing off it.
