Have there been a lot of true 1080p (1920x1080) on the PS3? If PS3 can handle 1080p then what happened to KZ2,KZ3, ...?
Btw, there have been some older titles that were 1080p on the 360.
Well the software can control the fan speed, Something in the firmware taxing the cpu or gpu, ... and so on.
Like games can really push the gpu and can cause it to overheat especially under the right circumtances.

Its an ugly looking game, but my son loves to play it. LOT said its better on the PS3 so what you gonna do? I'm not going to start saying "Lens of Lies", or "they didn't have the tv set up correctly". LOL
I dunno.. it seems to cost so much more to develop and market a game. Gamers now just demand so much more.. great graphics, new engines, tons of beta testing, marketing, ...

But 3D tech keeps evolving. I have a Samsung 3D 55" and NEVER use the 3D part. Glasses gives me a headache.

I guess what's hard to understand is why Sony admitted about exploits and why they never disputed about the outdated software. It isn't very hard to show what version they were running.
1. So a known expert said to congress that Sony was running unpatched web servers and not running firewalls on some critical data. <-- fine not to accept this I guess
