MRMagoo123, why don't you correct the PS3 fans here that are only talking about the Kinect?
Apocalypse, then pretty from your definition a lot of the consoles are future proof. 360 is on its 8th yr.

ziggurcat, I think it goes both ways. I don't think Sony had great dev tools to begin with which was the opposite of what MS had. 1st party devs had Sony to help them out.

I don't think it was the cell/rsx that gave the PS3 the advantage, but it was BR. With BR you could have a ton more detailed textures. It wasn't that cpu/gfx of the 360 couldn't handle lets say Uncharted, but if they created one for 360 there wouldn't be as many levels.
I think that's for PS4 and not pS3.

I really don't know why you use vgchartz numbers. Please read how vgchartz was started and why no company uses their numbers. Have you ever seen Nintendo, Sony, or MS respond to vgchartz numbers?
Well some fanatical PS3 fans originally, who PS3s were not bricked, said the 4.45 problem was BS and was started by xbox fans. So....
DJMarty, didn't they do that for only a couple of 3rd party devs? Actually I only remember Epic and the rest were 1st part devs.

Did the PS3 come with headsets? I remember PS3 fans complaining how chatting sucks and they could always buy better ones instead of the cheap pack in ones.
So now chatting is cool since PS4 has it? And now that XB1 users would have to buy a headset its a horrible thing by MS.
Utalkin2me, hmm... weird.. my launch PS3 controller didn't have rumble because Sony said rumble was last gen. A few months later I had to buy a pair because all of a sudden Sony decides rumble is in. Boy did I feel the love there. Thanks Sony!

Umm.. I paid $600+tax on a launch PS3 and PS3 fans were more that willing to pay. Its a trip... when PS3 first launched with a high price tag, they said its like comparing a Ferrari to a Toyota (360). Of course now that PS3 and PS4 are cheap its all about the price.
TKCMuzzer, wait.. when PS3 launched they said rumble was last gen. Then a couple of months later they brought out the new controllers with rumble and I had to buy a pair. So was that loyalty by Sony??
