They promised 4-5million sales to Capcom... it ended up being the shortest DmC and really did not see the 4yrs of dev time it got. Remember, before a debut trailer, theres already 1-1.5years work done 1st.

What he did was defraud the masses that followed/bought the game. Instead of selling the product for what it is, he was aware it was wholly outsourced, he sold the game like a used car salesman. The ol' bait and switch.
