You're the one reducing these games to be just about this issue, you're the one letting it bother you. It's just a character in a story. I will enjoy The Last of Us the same regardless, it's not liking the whole game specifically because the character is gay that imo is the problem.
"But some people can never be pleased and some companies try everything they can to accommodate them at th...
See, my question is why does it matter, why do people let it bother them? If they want to make a inclusive game it's their time and their money. If you don't want to buy it that's fine, no one is forcing you.
Despite the over reactionary nature of people to games featuring gay or minorities they are never going to be the only type of game made. And the number of games featuring those things is minuscule.
Ok Abriael what did you learn from Aaron? I'd like to remind you his reply was that Microsoft hasn't changed their stance on censorship, which I would point out is exactly what Sony said, though you told Aaron that Sony had changed their policy which is not their official position.
So what did you learn about Microsoft's stance on Senran or Omega Labyrinth or Mary Skelter or Blue Reflection or any of the other games that aren't on xbox that got censored whic...
The man basically invented stealth games and I have almost never seen anyone complain about Metal Gear gameplay, MGO has a following of people who will say it was the best online gameplay ever.
Better management? Haha I thought your position on management was that it was all Don Matricks fault after that other thread.
And aren't you xbox guys supposed to be talking about how the new teams will be free to make the games they want with out too much Microsoft influence? Now you want more middle managers from Microsoft involved? It's not like Microsoft has proved their management has improved games this generation...
Abriael, you brought up costumes to avoid having to confront the original issue I was bringing up which is that Microsoft hasn't had to deal with the same games that Sony has. The only reason I ever even said costumes was as a response to you.
Again, the only point I am making is that it's unfair to compare Microsoft's position on censorship when there aren't any games that Sony has censored that Microsoft hasn't. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 isn't on xbo...
Please inform me of an instance where Sony censored an outfit that Microsoft didn't. I know that DMC had a censorship thing but it was patched to be the same as the other versions.
But you were asking him to compare his stance with Sony's has Sony censored Phantasy Star?
And second you do understand that what Sony is censoring isn't costumes? It's things involving sexualization of characters that look underage. (and I am not defending their position either)
Abriael generally I have a lot of respect for you, you have come along ways as a game journalist and generally speaking I really like your coverage of Japanese games ...
Microsoft is doing whats it's always done which is simply not getting games that might be censored. How many Senran games are on xbox... zero how many NIS games are on xbox zero.
So I fail to see how not even having those games at all is a "position" on censorship.
