After playing Borderlands, I've been saying it's a perfect mix of all the great games we've seen this generation. Halo, Fallout 3, COD, and now, L4D.
I simply love this game, and can't wait for more hours of gameplay. 10 bucks is a steal for 6 hrs of gameplay.

Dude, the PS3 has always been considered "too expensive" for the average consumer. Of course a big price cut to $299 would be huge for a few months.
Why not wait until the end of the year, then compare the sales? Don't be like the 360 fanboys and compare month to month. That's pointless. Yearly sales reflect so much more.
That's probably your gun then. Everyone seems to have a favorite gun. Me? I don't like to camp at all, I always have to be moving, so I use the TAR assault rifle for mostly everything unless it's a map like Afghan, which I snipe on. Once I unlock the M16, I'll probably use it, but while I like the FAMAS, I found myself not satisfied. The FAMAS feels too much like the BR in Halo 3. You're right though, it IS really accurate, but there are better guns to be unlocked.

I'll answer for him, Multiplayer and Coop. At least, that's why I'd score it 9-9.5. It's really fun partying up with your friends online, or having a buddy over and switching controllers every other game.
It's just a great online experience, and it'll have you glued to the TV with your nerves bouncing around. It's truly addictive once you start unlocking the better guns, perks, and killstreaks.

It's being rated lower by users because of poed PC gamers(for obvious reasons) and PS3 fanboys because it's taking Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2's thunder. It's as simple as that.
All three games are amazing, but in my opinion, MW2's multiplayer destroys anything I've seen this generation in terms of polish and online gameplay.
That includes Gears of War 1&2 and Warhawk which *were* my favorite multiplayer games.

Microsoft does need to step it up with graphics, but in terms of gameplay they don't need to. The current engines allow them an easier, cost efficient way to put out great games. Just because the graphics aren't better, doesn't mean the games are worthless. These same games with older engines STILL score very well.
In the case of the PS3, newer engines will benefit the PS3 more. It gives it more appeal over the Xbox. Like I said, the 360 has engines that work great and deliver ...
Saaking, sales matter whether you think so or not. It determines the possibility of sequels, how much money the developers get back, and also shows how popular a game is. It doesn't relate to quality, no, that's what review scores are for. It relates to how many people actually enjoy it, whether it's AAA or not. See, that's exactly what I'm taking about. You're delusional. The reason PS3 exclusives are better is because of the engines. Yeah, Blu-ray helps but it's mostly the engines.
The 360 has recycled engines that were created and worked with during and after that one year head start. It doesn't mean the games are terrible, but developers prefer to use a known engine, instead of creating a new one for 360 exclusives.

Graphics are a big deal, right? So let me ask you this question. Did you think the PS2 was the best console last gen? It was the weakest graphic wise, but did you still enjoy the games? I would hope so.
Same goes for this generation. Both the PS3 and 360 both have great games with great graphics. Just because Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 look the best, doesn't mean that all other games suck because they don't match their graphics.
