Is the PSN version in English?
Resistance dosen't totally offer in game XMB, you can only access it at one point after loading the disc and thats in the online menu, you can't access it in single player or while you're in a party, private room or in multiplayer action. If you're hosting a party and you get an XMB message you'll have to disband your party to read that message.
Skate's FL isn't XMB, you CAN send messages with it but I don't know if they come up as XMB messages. UT3 is like that too.

In my community clan we always referred to buying a xbox/360 as "joining the darkside" then we'd get people joining us from over theere claiming to have also joined the darkside buy purchasing a PS3. It just depends on which background you're from.
I for the record see PS as light and Xbox as dark ;)

Well we all heard a couple of bad things about Uncharted from PS3fanboy in the middle of last year but that turned out alright in the end.

I'm stuck for which version to buy (though if i really wanted it now I would buy the 360 version s the PS3 version still isn't out in europe yet), the 360 version has voice comms while the PS3 version dosen't (bad show Capcom) but the d-pad on the PS3 is a lot better than the 360's

Those are great prices. Even if they don't turn out to be your cup of herbal tea you can still trade them in at Game or Gamestation and possible make a nice wee profit.
