Agree with this, and it's a shame as R&C games are great. But they're not:
1. Hipster indie games
2. AAA open world action games with RPG elements.
So R&C doesn't have a chance.

The woman you see in the videos is the community manager for PlayStation UK. The other guys work for that Yogscast thing.
They're Dutch, so that'll be why they helped out with Killzone.

Little Big Planet is a game I certianly have warmed to. I had my doubts about it before as I always do with user created content based games but from lookign at a lot of the recent videos it really does seem as if it is possible to make a level on par with a classic Sonic or mario game. obviously you cant make LBP into a Sonic or Mario game as the way your character controls is a lot different. I gave IGNs Beyond podcast a listen this morning and they were all practically gushing over this game. Something may be up, either that or the IGN Playstation team are just big fans of the series unlike Eurogamer.

I'm playing Battleborn regularly and enjoying it. It's all I expected from the game so it's not a failure as far as I'm concerned.
The press had it in for the game before it was even released.
