As someone who had a PS4 from day 1, I'm glad I ditched it for the PRO, granted I have a 4k TV, but with the recent inclusion of super sampling, you're crazy not to make the upgrade.

They need to acquire talented developers and make new 1st party studios.
I don't think they'd waste their time. They've previously stated they are done with hardware this gen, I don't see them putting time and money into a 2nd handheld.
