If they paid me to play it I might give it a go. Otherwise, no thanks.
It's a gorgeous looking game, the level design is outstanding. I've been taking my time going through the game, just soaking up the atmosphere and not rushing through.
I loved the Uncharted series but I think The Last of Us is on a totally different level.
This caught my eye -
'The Motley Fool owns shares of GameStop and Microsoft.'
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...........
This guy is on fire!
He's walking on fire!
This guy is on fire!
Why has he got part of Chewbacca on his head. And where's the rest of Chewbacca.
If it wasn't for Nintendo it wouldn't have a sequel at all.
Because he was sick of seeing Phil Fish all the time.
I can buy The Witcher 2 for £5.09 on Steam today. And I can play it offline as well. I don't need to ask Steams permission every 24hrs if I can play it either.
There's a big difference when it comes to DRM and Steam.
@PLASTICA-MAN
That's a bit weird, I can max it out with a 570 gtx with no probs, and yours should too -

This is taken from an interview with Eiji Aonuma- http://www.engadget.com/201... -
If you read the interview they say -
'His teams are currently developing the next-gen title, but unfortunately it's not at a point where there's anything relevant to show. '
I'm sure Naughty Dog answered questions in interview...
I have no issue with the review score, but this is something I do disagree with -
'Despite what the stupid games media would have you believe, The Last of Us isn’t perfect nor is it all that close to perfection. To all the sites out there giving the game perfect 10′s, congratulations, you’re doing your readers a disservice.'
Other reviewers opinions are just as valid as yours, you are not the be all and end all of video game reviewers. Those sentences...
It will look better than your grammar. And I don't mean your Grandma.
'what are the disadvantages? '
If you don't you can't play your games and your console is just a media centre.
Eh? The game play is excellent, it matches the quality of the story.
I'll have to keep an eye out for this, I love these type of games. Been playing Don't Starve quite a bit lately (excellent game) and it's a similar sort of thing.
@shadowraiden
Steam doesn't have the restrictions Xbox1 has, you can play your games offline and don't need to stand to attention for it every 24 hours. It also has the benefits of having cheaper games and not having to pay to play online.
And all our comments are going to disappear, like magic!
Here's a handy image that will help you decide if it will work or not in your region -

Excellent, I lost a few hours of progress but I don't mind going through a second time through those sections, I loved doing it the first time. At least now it will save properly.
Lol, I second that.
