Well this is it, people in general don't care about bad stuff that can happen, until it happens to them.
I just can't fathom how someone couldn't be insulted by what MS is doing.
The actual console without the DRM restrictions I have no problem with. It seems fairly capable and could well have some great games release on it. But the restrictions in place are unnecessary and unwanted, and have no real benefit to the person buying it.
I spoke to a mate about the new xbox today, and it shocked me really with how pleased he was with it. I said I thought it was a joke with what they were doing with it in regards to drm and used games and he wasn't bothered by it.
Told him about the 24 hour check thing as he didn't seem aware of it, still didn't bother him.
Told him about not being able to play his games if his internet goes down for a length of time, he thought you could still p...
Yeah I saw that earlier with the auto saving thing and didn't think much of it, but I just started the game up to play again and the only save I have is about an hour into the game, I was playing for over 4 hours :(
Hope they patch it soon, I don't mind going through it again because I enjoyed it so much, but it's a bit of a pain when you just want to start from where you left off.

Sony seems to have learned from their mistakes though Logic. They thought they could do anything at that time and the public would lap it up. It took a few years for them to turn things around, the experience humbled them quite a bit.
They still never took customers as complete fools like MS are though.

I'll be honest, I skipped through most of it as it was the worst unveiling I'd ever seen. It was TV,TV,TV,tv,tv,tv.....boring. So yeah, must have missed that part.

Maybe the second game, but I doubt they will bother porting the first other. The second was more console friendly, the first wasn't.
