But what about your eyes?

They did, but are they just playing it safe?

Examiner's lack of journalistic integrity rears its ugly head again.

Right answer.

They don't mo-cap faces for Uncharted - the so the comparison's retarded.

LA Noire and HEAVENLY SWORD win.

Yeah prices doesn't seem to go down with Digital games. Sure there are sales, but the prices go straight back up afterwards. Whereas retailers can fight on price.

If my place burns down I'll have to carry a huge chest of drawers full of games :/

I wonder if there'll ever be a day when it'd work for console's as well. I don't think the PSP GO was a good example, as you had to buy from the PSN store.

Maybe a console with different game stores? Like the PS3 has different movie stores - the PS store, but also LoveFilm, Hulu and Mubi. That might work for some competition in prices.

Or maybe a console made by a company that doesn't make games - like Apple.

Does seem like it's different on the other side of the pond - games are generally cheaper if bought on disc.

Still I think Steam is diff to say PSN or Xbox Live - when the manufacturers have more control then the prices will stay high.

Steam's sales are good - but really I can get games SOOOoo cheap in the UK. Even on launch - all the competition with supermarkets and online retailers just brings the prices down. Something that digital stores with prices set by publishers and manufacters can't match.

Some stores can't even match them - like HMV.

It's not really like in the US, where the retail price of like $60 stays like that for months.

Most won't have a hit on the graphics themselves - maybe on the framerate. Rendering an extra and very similar scene has less impact on the engine compared to making a 720p game a 1080p game. It's perfectly possible and it's why we're seeing it on some of the most impressive looking PS3 games

But we don't know how much the tech will improve...

5486d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I think that might be even worse with glasses-free tech.

I've seen some for around £800... that £650 price sounds good though - are they any good?

5486d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Hm, going to have to be cheaper for me.

5487d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

Yep, that's a good way to do it.

5499d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'll give you $2. I'll then sell it to my friend for $20.

5499d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I mean I'd buy RDR for £6, who wouldn't (still haven't played it) but you'd expect more for it. That's why I like online selling :) Bring it on Amazon.
