I believe it's in reference to PS3 rivals. Ie. Heavy Rain outsold all Xbox 360 games. Shame I read a HR spoiler before I played the game on N4G =,( Completely spoiled it for me.
Different story in the US, naturally. But outselling even Modern Warfare 2 on the 360 in Europe - Wow.

I do think Insomniac would see some popularity on the Wii...but nothing extraordinary. Third party games just aren't shifting on the Wii.

Sony just released their financial year numbers, therefore you get sales articles. Wait for the next headline "PS2 outsells Xbox 360 in 2010"
All the numbers are there mate. Nothing is twisted. PS3 software sales for 2009 outstripped the Xbox 360's by 115 to 103 million despite a higher installed base. The attach rates are ALL included and simply states that the PS3 attach rate is now 8.1. The two statements on software sales and attach rate are mutually exclusive.
Nothing in the article is misleading - they've even included a FULL graph for you to refer to on all the consoles - which is where you are pull...

Look at the numbers announced by Microsoft and Sony - 40.2 million minus 35.7 is...you guessed it, 4.5 million
The question is - does it matter. The 360 attach rate is already higher than the PS3 - so if there are LESS 360's being used, the attach rate is INSANE.
You're doing a lot of bragging =D BTW if Sony meets its 15 million sales projection and Xbox 360 stays static...the PS3 will overtake by 2011.
