I wonder if it'll ALL be based in Rome. I liked having different cities. Then again...as long as Desmond sections are kept to an absolute minimum.

On individual platforms. FFXIII and Battlefield 2 are above one million when adding PS3 and 360 sales.

The Last Guardian! <3

What a year the PS3 will have if LBP2, GT5 and TLG are all out this year.

(Though I believe TLG is scheduled for 2011)

Pardon? What is there in Mass Effect 2 that cannot be handled? It can be handled by middling PCs...

Not only would he love to see them, the studio is actively investing in their development even though they "haven't been announced yet"

The content is the same - with the same quotations - it is clearly said that the PS3 is currently more stable. Which is great news considering how bad it was before. It means that they'll be the same by the time it releases next year (been too long)

They've included the quotation from Shacknews. Remember a lot of this news is from a few days ago - N4Gs been down for a while =D

Graphics look bad - sure this isn't the Wii version? They do look very similar...so could be a mistake.

Thankfully, the platforming looks brilliant.

Wrathman - the numbers ARE official. They are from Sony's own financial results.

Well they had to. You can't announce a price cut for only the new model. That cut on the fat models absolutely killed them though - they were costing about $400 to make, so dropping to $300 was a big loss. But they had to clear the channel of fats to make way for the Slim - it's not something they could sustain.

The price cut was CAUSED by the PS3 Slim. Sony would not be able to afford a price cut on the fat PS3 (doing so before the Slim had reached full capacity was killing them)

Read it...

"By looking at Sony’s fiscal results as compared to Microsoft’s financial year, which ends June 30th, our original report shows that sales of the PS3 in the 2008-09 year close out at 9.6 million units."

"Sony’s fiscal year actually starts three month’s earlier than Microsoft’s on April 1st, but the advantage of using the above scale is that it allows us to see how successful the PS3 Slim has actually been. The console’s slim factor, which ha...

Indeed, wonder what the year will end up looking like. I'm guessing 2.5 million for Q3 and 2 million for Q4 - so that would be 14.2 million. Not bad.

On Sony's fiscal year (April 1st to March 31st) Last year will be 13 million...and this year will be, well, 15 million maybe.
