Obviously, but I think the customer benefits as well. I've started disliking getting digital copies with the system. For example the steelbook case, but digital code with the Halo console.

Since I apparently can't edit, I have figured out how to redeem on Xbox.com now, it was due to Metro 2033 only being first half of the month. 10/10 think I'm an idiot.
Logged into my account which has active Gold, but makes me pay for the game on the Xbox site. I tried using Microsoft credit to buy some 360 sale games that I thought would be BC but the Xbox Support told me I could only do that on the actual 360 and not ont he computer.
I hope they add a way to redeem 360 GWG on the Xbox One like they have the ability to redeem One GWG on the 360.
I work at GameStop, and I hate GameStop, but you're right despite the disagrees. You can easily get really good deals if you do it right. Unfortunately, it takes working there to really know how to do it right.

You figured that'd be the case, right? I remember when Black Flag was up for preorder for $10 on Walmart's website, they cancelled those too and there was nothing we could do to fight it. I work a few shifts at GameStop each week (please hold back your stones), and if we have a messed up price sticker, or left a sale sticker on something, I'm happy to honor it, that's good customer service.

I'm curious if people who complain about this and GameStop went to college? If you think GameStop are thieves, then you clearly haven't dealt with textbooks that you have no choice but to purchase to pass the classes that you pay to take.
