Funny comment, considering that card will struggle to run the game at 720p...
Play something else.
Many people play ffxi currently (myself included), and don't mind the keyboard control scheme.
and maybe Cyclops please? =)
That's probably one of the dumbest things I've ever heard...
Abyssea added a whole new way to level. 60k exp / hr anyone? yes please!
GOW 3? Not even listed in 'The games I missed:' section...
So the only complaints the author could come up with are the lack of a save file (game uses auto-saving) and no subtitles for the various audio recording.
Pretty much the definition of nit-picking
Its not fictionary though. There is actually a 'controller' under your foot that you press on.
=)
The in-graphics on the 3DS do not look better than games on the current PSP.

FFXI already had more than enough jobs, meaning it wasn't really practical to just 'port them over and add a few more'.
FFXIV isn't having 'classes' per say. You can combine abilities from different classes to make your own class. This is why the class names are generic 'titles' like Gladiator, means sword user, then lancer, archer etc. You will be able mix and match abilities to make the class you like.
Many of the THF abilit...
The reason they charge for alt is because they want everyone to use a single character. They know that some people will want more characters than just one, so they offer it as an additional service.
Just like in FFXI, you only need one character to experience all of the different classes in the game, unlike WoW where you are have to create an alt to try every different class.
Its just a different design choice. They feel having people level different classes ...
How are you going to pirate an MMO?
Mentions a possible price:
"The listing places the release date as August 6th with an incredibly attractive price of £14.99, perhaps mostly aimed at enticing those a little unsure of picking it up."
You can use the lowbie stones whenever you like as they are easy to farm.
Make sure you save any 'Pure' stones though. You only get one of two of those per type per playthrough, so save 'em for a weapon you really want to upgrade!
I honestly think they said there are no plans for Demon's Souls 2 because the game just launched in Europe and announcing a sequel right when the first game is shipping can hurt sales.
I guess we'll see, but I won't be surprised when they announce a sequel, just ecstatic!
mine too =)
Congrats on only watching gameplay vids on youtube...
"lack of interesting environments, its basically survive through some uninteresting linear dark level and fight a semi-interesting boss."
Are you fricking kidding? You're obviously a troll have not played the game... The controls, levels and bosses were the best parts of the game.
If you read the article, it says SE couldn't come to an agreement with M$ regarding FFXIV.
This clearly means what M$ was unwilling to give SE the same deal they have in place for FFXI.
Short Answer: The 'barrier' is Microsoft.
Calm down dude. I'm sure gamers in Japan thought FFXIII was better than ME2 or Fallout3, which is exactly what this article is talking about, except in relation to their next mmo's.
The SE developer said that both Bioware and Bethesda are great developers and there games are great, but they are not sucessful in Japan.
