The only place these games were hyped the way you make it seem was on N4G. I only started seeing LBP commercials before Xmas, and I haven't seen any R2 or Motorstorm commercials yet.
R2 sold a million copies in 2 months & got like 90% average rating. How is that a flop? OMFG it was so hyped blah blah... Who Overhyped it? People on the forums... wow they account for about 0.01% of the consumers world wide.

Many games that were hyped that sold poorly were left out:
Infinite Undiscovery, Ninja Gaiden 2.
However R2 and LBP were included? They have only been out for 2 months, unlike NG2
The Last Remnant has been out for 2 months, sold poorly and got terrible reviews... why is it not on the list?

My elite cost $399. My wifi adaptor cost $99. My Wireless headset cost $60. The rechargable battery packs for my 3 controllers cost $15 each ($45). Xbox Live cost me $60 when gears2 came out. (All Canadian prices).
My Launch 60gig PS3 cost $649 (Now is $399 for 80gig), and my headset cost $60 with a game (SOCOM - great game now btw).
So stfu about cost, because one is not cheaper than the other.
That shouldn't take long....

Um... It is 'only' $39.95, not $49.95. To Bad he had to say the price was higher in his review to make th score look more apporporiate.
40 bucks for 18 songs is still a little steep for me, but now in Canada, most places have put it on for $29.95... so its getting closer to being acceptable.

Gears2 is the best looking game?
Have you played MGS4 or Uncharted? Both came out before gears2 and blow it away. I've played and wrapped all 3 games, and gears doesn't hold a candle to them, let alone have the 'crown'.

Sorry, I should have stated that i'm not hating on NG2. I own it, and this its a great game! However, it hasn't sold that well (apperently a million isn't 'selling well' anymore), and yet is not on the list.
R2 generally got better reviews, and sold just as well in fraction of the time, but still made the list...
I was only using NG2 as an example to point out how bogus this 'top 10' list is...
