Im not trading in my PS3 this happens everywhere. If you think youre completely secure your a fool.
Your info is in danger in all parts of life when paying or buying with credit cards. Not is our government computers are 100% secure.
I don't play that much online so I don't see a reason to trade in my system, and I damn sure not going to sign up for live just to play online when its free on PC, PS3, and even the goddamn Wii.
True I was never worried as I have fraud protection. If you don't have that then its your own fault if something happens to your account.
I just most of my morning dealing with my idiot 360 fanboy friend who constantly made himself sound completely stupid.
so why make the comment in the first place? i was just expressing that im secure in that my info has backup in form of my card company.
you sound upset that im not angry at sony. could this be the case for your comment?
i don't mean to come off as being rough on you, but that's the first thing you should have done when you got your debit/credit card(s).
it's the first thing i do once i get a new card because i pay my bills online and i know the net is not 100% secure.
ill still be playing my ps3 so it aint dead to me.
how about you get FRAUD PROTECTION for your credit cards when you get them, so if something shows up thats not your doing it can be taken care of by the card company.
i have fraud protection on all my cards so if something goes down my card companies will let me know.
@EYE
is that trading places you quoting?
i hear ya i take a chance everytime i pay my bills online. like you said nothing on the internet is 100% safe so why the media or certain few getting in arms is quite baffling to me.
i have fraud protection on all my cards so im pretty secure in the fact that if anything wrong happens they'll notify me right away.
i guess the media is really enjoying themselves with this one huh? sony thought they had from the beginning but they couldnt foresee one or a few of their employee(s) selling them out to hackers for extra cash.
because that's how the rootkey got out in the first place, and the hackers used this for their own personal gains not to help the gamers out as they claim.
guess i shouldnt be angry at the employee(s) who sold out the company by releasing the rootkey that protect the system, or the hackers who are missing with the system now huh?
listen my credit card info as well as everyone else is pretty much in danger everyday from the places we eat when we pay our bills with them, to paying your bills online. so ill hold to my beliefs on who i should be angry at.
who the hell is this guy?
hahahahahaha dude i like you attitude.
i'm actually angry at the sony employee who sold out the company to hackers by giving them the rootkey for some extra $$$$ if that doesn't happen we probably wouldn't be having this issue right now.
also the hackers catch the major portion of my ire because they are just f*cking douchebags who are only out for themselves. lying to themselves saying they are doing it for us people. lying sacks of sh*t.
edit
wow a disagree for being mad ...
hey i'm american and i have a PS3 actually i have both console HD consoles to go along with the wii.
the PS3 is my favorite console out of the 3 because it has a variety of exclusive titles that cater to me in many different genres.
so please don't lump all of us americans under the stupid banner even though there are a lot lol.
I find it it funny how 360 (fanboy) gamers like to call ps3 drones, when in fact I see 360 (fanboy) gamers as cultists who can't think for themselves and always follow and believe the stupid media propaganda against Sony, and the PS3.
Just weird.
To me I wouldn't be stupid or desperate enough to trade one for the other because of online.
Truly is sad how some people just can't be patient enough to wait till its completely fixed. Thank god im not one of them being playing Dragon Age 2 while its down, on 2nd playthrought as a rogue. I love this game :), but today I think i'll get started on Socom 4 campaign mode.
150% agree with you my friend. I longer let reviews or media influence me on what games to get. I just use my level of interest, demos, and beta to purchase my games.
Been gaming since the early 80s as a little kid, and I didn't know what reviews were back then just bought my games based of whether I wanted said game, or if it looked interesting enough too me.
I never was a fan of the Socom series but its showing at last years E3 peaked my interest so I...
@cyclo
Kudos to you for understanding how the real world is, and if the pentagon can be hacked you best believe anything can.
Bubbles to you sir.
