i have a question did they bring any of the other big companies before them that got breached and had actual important info taken Y or N?
i grew up on single player games so i will always put it ahead of multiplayer.
I guess I can wait to pick up the system probably a year after its initial release.
I've been using my PS3 everyday for a few hrs here, and there playing games, blu rays, netflix, using the browser for a bit. Also listening to my music too.
They have a lot of retarded writers, and posters on that site.
You know a lot of people are acting retarded throughout this whole thing. Of course they have to ask for that 3 digit code because without that you can't make any type of purchase online.
When I buy stuff from best buy, amazon, any company that has an online store you need that code to complete the purchase.
So no one needs to be fired over this.
Also I was asked for this code to when I had xboxx live.
nope i just purchased Portal 2 for PS3 today so no this does not change my purchasing habits when it comes to multi platform games.
sorry dude you know it won't because it's positive news in favor of Sony and its fans.
the US media is good for using scare tactics when a bad situation happens. i read am bitmob article today and i realize the most important piece of info that this hackers didnt get was my SS# because Sony never asked for it.
besides i didn't even panic when PSN went down as long as our CC or DC numbers were encrypted, and SS# were never used to make our accounts i just went about my daily routine.
Yea I ain't leaving no time soon they still have plenty of great games yet to be released. Been with them since the release of PS1 and ill just continue on my merry way.
Hmm I can see this reasonable and fair article wont make it to front page as a hot topic. Sad really.
Anyone you enjoy them on.
My debit card is linked to my acct and I haven't panicked once during this whole situation. I know my card is protected and I would get an alert is something is wrong.
Im just going about my daily business, and playing my PS3 when I have the time.
Only here in america it seems everything is about fear. I pay my bills online, use my card everywhere so I know im pretty much in danger of having my info stolen at any time, but again I don't worry about i...
@kwietstorm
it's called free speech and i can comment on anything i want don't know why it bothers you so much lol.
blah, blah, blah
why would i flock to other sysetms when i own all 3? i don't play the stupid fanboy card because each system has games that i'd want to play.
@iamnsuperman
i love gaming its one of my favorite hobbies, and since i've been gaming since early 80s way back with atari 2600 then NES i don't let names of companies stop me from purchasing a console. if you console has a game or two that interest me i will buy it period.
i go...
yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa NO!!!!!!
not trading in my system since i own all 3 anyways. if i didnt trade in my 360 because of faulty hardware, and my wii for non-use why would i trade in PS3 because i couldnt get to play any stupid online.
im running through my 2nd playthrough of Dragon Age 2 i'm not letting this stop me from playing my system.
dude your attitude always brings a laugh out of me. like you don't have a care in the world lol.
as for me im not worried ill either use psn cards if i remember to buy them or just still use my debit card. i always check my account daily its like a force of habit.
there's no reason for me to be scared since info is almost always in danger i don't have time to act all paranoid like everyone else. ill go about my daily routine.
List like these are pretty meaningless imo.
