No it hasn't been out a year but withing the first 11 months it did outsell what PS4 sold in its first 12 months.
In its first year it sold more than PS4 did by millions a little below 18 million come April and they're planning on shipping 25-30 million this year alone were talking 43-48 million by next year. Can it win the console war absolutely especially with their own games coming out and who knows what new or old ips they're working on for the Switch the console war can very well be Nintendo being #1 followed by Playstation and Xbox.
I think the Switch is going to do great I wouldn't be surprised to see a Metroid Prime 4 trailer soon along with a Smash Bros. port or new game and who knows what third party announcements will be made.
I don't think they have to acquire any companies they should get the rights to games like Turok, James Bond, get the Nascar license resurrect older games like Brute Force Conker etc etc. Microsoft would be fine just getting a license for older games Shadowman was a good game bring it back maybe a Legends of Wrestling game things like that would grab the attention of gamers. Games aren't released everyday though and people love Nintendo games its a fact just because some don't doesn't mean others have to follow them. The Switch sales are great now and it hasn't been out a year wait until they announce a Pokemon game the games will sell like crazy Nintendo puts out quality games whenever they're released.
I wouldn't say it was ahead of its time if it was they wouldn't have to put out the Xbox One X same goes for Sony. If both companies wanted to get ahead they should have looked into the 4k thing before launching the PS4 and Xbox One instead of releasing 4k consoles a few years into the release of PS4 and Xbox One.
Mario Odyssey would have sold that many copies even if it had third party games that are on PS4 and Xbox One but not one Microsoft or Sony game sold that many copies in 3 months. Their exclusives can't even touch those numbers as fast as Mario Odyssey did thats a fact.
I actually remember @_-EDMIX-_ and a bunch of others saying stores were getting 2 consoles when the Switch came out when it was selling out last year. But I give you credit for giving credit when its due
How does it feel knowing that games that Sony and Microsoft have put out haven't sold as well as Mario Odyssey has in 3 months and how does it feel that an under powered console is going to pass PS4 sales in its first year by millions???
Not many games else you can buy on switch <-- how the hell does this sentence make any sentence?? It has high numbers because its a great game that got rated 10s countless times neither Sony or Microsoft has sold that many copies of a game in 3 months.
I don't think Nintendo or Sony need to worry they do their own things they like to be different the Labo boosted Nintendos value close to $1.4 billion and Sony has their VR thing going for them. I said it before Microsoft is taking a gamble with this they make tons of money with their software and now adding their games to the Xbox Game Pass is going to cost them a ton of money. I like the Game Pass its a cool feature on the Xbox One games are $63 when they release Sea of Thieves on Xb...
They're all comfortable to me I think they're all designed well the Switch controllers can be a bit bigger though.
I like the Xbox Game Pass it has free games from third party developers and now Microsoft is pretty much giving away their first party games for nothing I've downloaded about 30 games from it for my Xbox One S.
The game looks great I hope its long and if they ever made a God of War movie Triple H can play Kratos he kind of looks like him with his shaved head.
I don't see it using every bit of power the PS4PRO has I don't think any developer will be able to do that with any console.

I hope not the last game was horrible and took forever to come out you would think that with all the time they had to develop it the game would have been good.

It hooks up to your tv just like PS4 and Xbox One does so its a console thats for home use and for use on the go and do some research the Switch is more powerful than PS3 and Xbox 360. I call it like I see it to and I see it as you not really knowing anything about gaming if it had par performance like PS3 and Xbox 360 why wasn't DOOM on those consoles??
