People are comparing the power of both consoles but fail to realize that the Switch is under powered compared to the Xbox One/X and the PS4/PRO in 1 year its at the half way point of what the Xbox One sold in 4 1/2 years. Crazy I think both companies should have waited to release a successor to their console instead of an upgrade it didn't work when SEGA did it with the 32 X.

Its not good if developers are pushing the Xbox One X far already the console just came out and sales aren't really great for it. If the Wii sales nosedived after 4 years thats saying PS3 and Xbox 360 sales did worse because Wii beat both consoles in sales and they were out close to a decade.

I'm sure they would try to get GTA VI and Red Dead Redemption 2 running on it to see if it can do it I mean Black Ops 4 is supposed to be coming to the Switch as well as Madden and Madden uses the Frostbite 3 engine.
Don't matter best selling console EVER and in different parts of the world under powered and it can very well take the console war. :)

Indeed I like Gears of War Forza Halo is great I just got into paying that so thats why I'd buy an Xbox One X but.... games need to be running on new engines and need to be built just for Xbox One X or PC for me to purchase one. PS4PRO has some great games also games like God of War Grand Turismo Uncharted thats why I got one and then theres Nintendo ARMS is cool I like that Splatoon looks promising then you have Mario Kart. Theres something for everyone on each console plain and simple...

I'm with you on this I have an Xbox One S and I've had problems with my Xbox One I got at launch and the S games freeze a lot during gameplay I don't want to go out and waste $530 on a console thats likely to give me trouble like past Xbox consoles.
Honestly hardcore gamers will get both I have the PS4PRO and I'll get the Xbox One X when theres something on it that is built just to run on the Xbox One X a game built from the ground up not using an old game engine.
I'd say Nintendo I mean 2017 was huge for them with the sales of the Switch and their games for it followed by Sony and Microsoft.
True it don't have the fan base that Mario and Zelda have and lets not forget about Pokemon.
