It is an interesting thing to say on the morning show as this can directly affect those parents that have no clue about gaming but are planning to get heir kid a console for xmas. They will go to the sotre and then say "wait a second didnt rosie say she hated xbox, lets get a PS3" LOL. I hear parents at video games stores ask dumb questions all the itme and then I watch the even worse workers steer them in all kinds of bad directions. It liiek a tragic comedy.
Its cheap and sound slike fun, its a win win all aorund.

Yeah definitely a fun game, demo is most grabbing up and so is the game. Too bad they didnt really stick it to Madden and release it for cheaper than $60, that was the ebst on the Xbox - 2k football for $20. Couldnt beat that with a stick.
The game is great and hard! The difficulty shouldnt turn off many real gamers especially if you were used to it on the Xbox. THis has to be the second best title for the PS3 next to Resistance.
I agree with you but the fact htey are there and we as a consumer dont get anyhting out of it, is the upsetting part. Just htink of buying a Harry Potter book and seeing Taco Bell ads in the center or buying some sneakers to find advertisemnts in the box or in your shoes?

Yes this game was that good on the PS2(I mean Xbox of course) and that damn difficult. To see it on the PS3 in HD is awe inspiring. Great game and good job of re-touching it and adding in some different features.
I actually took part in what I thought was a demo for a Splinter Cell game and played through the game for about fifteen minutes, then I got pulled into a room and they asked me about it. You think that game pries are proportional to sponsors, man are you wrong. Just think how much games costed in cart form, in CD form and now in DVD form, interesting how htey always were at least $50, that seems to be the magic number that gamers will pay, how come PS3 and Xbox games cost the same... do you think the costs are exactly the same? The market price is made up by the industry, how come Wii games are cheaper or why is it that the same game in a few weeks can be sold for $20 cheaper...
I agree that it can add a level of realism in certain instances but I think the line between subtle and ridiculous is very slim. When I first saw in ad stuff I think I was playing Burnout and I thought it was pretty interesting but then I started seeing more of it in other titles. Now we even see it in games like Splinter Cell, why do we need a Best Buy ad in Splinter Cell? It can lead the way to a dark road where games get whored out completely in oredr to make more money. This game and demo look to have some good potential and move away from the ever popular FPS or racing gmae on our next gen consoles.
I have to say that I am surprised that more people dont have an opinion on in game ads. The way I think of them is like having junk mail or spam sent to you but you are paying for it! There is a season mode with your created team but there is no BO. BUt here is OJ.... and a team callled the Assassins, go figure. =)
It is defnitely a fun game, using the old timers is interesting, having the Frdige, OJ, WAlter Payton, Joe Montana, etc. on your team is pretty cool. Kinda feels like your playing an old tecmo bowl game with all those people in it.
That is really true, parents dont want to be bothered by returning their kids toys.
You know their tech has no clue about the falcon chip, most of these tech segments know the bare minimum abd then pass themselves off as knowing somehting.
I have to say I have seen some of the worst tech reps at Best Buy, the place where they should know everyhting tech, LOL
