The original was a great title but did need some polishing up. Lots of people grew tired of the snow and collecting thermal energy. Was a lot of fun though.
The issue of money on the Sony side is interesting because they could easily pull in more revenue by charging for their online services, but this could anger their fanbase while raising revenues.
This is true, i see Sony ads in odd places and think to myself, why woudl you want an ad for Killzone 2 here?
Even their AAA titles get little mention, LBP, Killzone 2, etc. Meanwhile Halo gets TV spots on MTV, Spike, etc.

@raztad - yeah I can see what your saying but the resemblance is pretty close. The premise and style are very similar. The feel of the intro reminded me a lot of being in the starting area of Fallout 3. Fallout 3 could be considered by some to be a 3rd person shooter with RPG elements.
Oh EA and iD, how can you shamelessly borrow the thoughts of others. For shame, I am sure they did it for the money. haha

Nothing ruins an online match more than someone being ignorant. I ran into a ton of this playing Halo 2, it seemed like that game was full of morons.

DLC is great in theory but the pricing schemes are often ridiculous.
I have to say that the fact that this is being reported is ridiculous, this is why gamers get a bad reputation as crass SOB's. Gamers need to act like adults once in a while and discuss real issues like this, not everything gaming related is about b00bs in Dragon Age.
This game looks amazing. It seems that Madden makes a real leap forward every few years, this year looks to be a nice upgrade and not just a roster update.
Yeah I had taken a break on Maddens because they were turning out to be just roster updates but htis one is a fresh new look
