I have to disagree that video games are the #1 reason kids dont do homework, the #1 reason would be bad parents. Video games are a form of entertainment and as long as it is monitored it is no different than TV or playing outside.

Aion looks pretty interesting, a lot of games are starting to use WoW as their baseline.
I wonder if any other MMO will ever catch up to WoW or if people will just keep waiting for expansions like Cataclysm

The Beatles Rock Band is currently blowing up on Twitter, seems to be trending as #2 right now, that is a good sign for the game itself.
The Beatles rock Band will sell liek hotcakes because there are so many fans of the band that span a ton of different age groups. A lot of kids will probably be playing this with their parents.
The Beatles do deserve their own game, this may not be for everyone though.
Best Buy seems to be trying everyhting they can to try and stay competitive in the game amrket, even creating bundles and looking to dabble in the used game market.
This bundle makes snese for those people that dont care about the beatles insturments and are looking for something cheaper

Backwards compatibility will lose out because of Downloadable games. They want you to repurchase stuff digitally.
I was just looking at PS2 slims yesterday, they are pretty cool and cheap. Tiny versions of the PS2 taht will let you play all your old favorites.

DC looks like fun. But I think it will be more like city of heroes than a WoW killer
