Seriously hoping this is both true and not just a quick cash in. A properly optimized 1080p port would be an instant replay for me. XIII wasn't all that great, but I enjoyed it.
XIII-2 was a seriously high-note for me. I'd love to play it again without the constant framedrops.
Especially that final fight. My god was that good.
I'd like to comment on which I prefer, but I'm not the writer of this post - merely a colleague!
From what I've played of Metro, the games mentioned are too far apart to directly compare the two. There's a similar setting there, sure, but the gameplay isn't quite the same with Fallout being majority RPG as it is shooter.
That would have been Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Dispair, most likely. The first and second "Danganronpa" games are essentially point n' click detective visual novels. This one is more of a third-person shooter detailing the events between the two main "Visual novel" games. :)
Odd to see a game that my friends created popping up on N4G. It's just a strange feeling...
We've had Kangaskhan, Mewtwo and Ampherous debunk that so far, I think. There's a Mega Evolution for everything but gen V/VI so far :)
But I would much prefer Hoenn to be added in the same game - rather than just a remake. It gives you a completely different outlook on the place when you've ended up there following another story.
Gen II and their remakes made Kanto feel much different because it all took place years after our first time there. It...
I... doubt it. I don't quite understand what you're getting at ;D
The beginning of HL1 was a little too drawn out. HL2 managed to paint a stronger overall picture in a smaller timeframe than the first.
Just my thoughts :P
The initial Vita announcement came around very late January, right? Maybe they're starting to set their hardware news dates in stone like Apple etc.
Can't argue with that score. I've always been interested by the series but have yet to get around to playing a single title. If the demo ever hits the EU eShop I'll download it in a heartbeat.
I've used the trail myself and clearly noticed it mention auto-renewal. It's not like it's any surprise. Netflix, Crunchyroll and the other streaming sites use the same system after a trail - as do subscription-based MMOs. It's nothing new and something you really should expect first.
You wouldn't really have a choice!
Great! I look out for this game, it's one of my secret favourites. You JUST beat me to the post too :P
Just a note. It isn't an first-person shooter. It's third-person :)
Expensive DLC.
Try to get a 3 year old to finish a classic Mario game without any of the help features they have these days. Just because the rating system says it's suitable for kids doesn't mean they can play them. It just means there isn't a lot of standard 'hardcore' themes.
I was 13 when the Wii launched and was all hyped over each video Nintendo showcased the system with beforehand. I grew up with my N64 and adored my Gamecube but never managed to be latched by the majority of Nintendo's IPs outside of Zelda and Pokemon.
Following that still spine tingling Twilight Princess announcement at E3 I was fully sold on the machine and got it along with Red Steel on day one.
After completing both of those games I hardly touched the...
I don't know if a Zelda game will be enough to sell the system to hardcore players again but... it would certainly sell it to me.
Then I'd sell it back.
Please do. I'll be playing a lot of it even after 30 hours.
When PC gamers complain about DRM we usually manage a good response from the publishers. Meanwhile, you're all getting hit by these passes of the same vein while they ignore your hate.
I feel bad for you guys. I really do :(
It technically is still being worked on, but they shifted it over to another group for one reason or another and laid off these guys at the same time.
In the interview provided with the press release they say they're unable to talk about Dead Island 2 at all and have no idea how it's doing at its new home - but they wouldn't be surprised if it was still stuck in limbo over there. At one point they mention it just not being good; but I'm not sure if they were...
