pc HAS dethroned consoles, it makes more money than ps3/360/psp/ps2 combined as of right now, if you add in wii and ds then it is outgunned a bit

but one gaming platform smashing ps3/360/psp/vita/ps2 all together is pretty badass

mmos combined make more money than all ps3 and 360 games combined minus call of duty, so no, don't think thats happening any time soon

at first i was putting this game off, but truthfully it looks as though the dev is really trying to bring a lot to the table.

also, they have gone on record stating the pc version will have dedicated servers, much higher texture resolutions and a bevy of other advanced pc-only features.....

so i may just have to pick this up, i liked bo1 but was not very pleased with mw3 at all

the dev has also stated that the pc version is far and away the best version, with much higher resolution textures, no jaggies, better performance, depth of field, ssao, better shadows and true hdr lighting, and while this is really true for all pc games vs console, it illistrates the face that devs are really very limited as to what they can do on these machines with 8-9 year old parts in them

darksiders 2 is gonna be awesome no matter hich platform you play it on, but there...

pc version is going to be, by far, the absolute best version according to the devs and the obviousness that its on pc!

graphics are far, far better looking in the crytek game, of course its running maxed on a pc, this looks freaking incredible

then again, crysis 2 maxed on pc looks out of this world good. uncharted 3 compared to crysis 2, thats like god of war 3 compared to god of war 1

360 is going into its 8th year on the market in november

sad, the games on both consoles are getting outshined by cell phone games graphically

PC is two full generations beyond consoles, and the gap only grows, by the time new consoles do launch, they will already be last gen comparitively

by far the best horror game in a long, long time is Amnesia The Dark Descent

doom 3 on pc with zero mods in 1080p looks better than all console games!

not alienware dude, easieest way, if you dont know someone who can build a gaming rig for you is buy a good i7-desktop from bestbuy for like $500-$700 and but a decent gpu in it

but building one could be done for like $700 total and you would be able to nearly max every game

crysis 2, gtaiv with mods, metro2033, day-z, every mmo, bf3 ect!

WORLD AT WAR on pc was awesome, and it looks better than any game on console ever made! you just played it on the wrong system, all cod games look awful on console, they are 1024x600p, pretty much wii resolution
