I have said it before.....just doesn't look the same as what I am seeing on my PS3 and my Sony Bravia with HDMI.........Mine looks much sharper than what they are showing here...this fuzzy stuff just isn't showing it's face on my set up....makes you wonder????
This game should be well worth the wait.
I am playing on a Sony Bravia through HDMI and this game doesn't look anything like the screens in the comparison. The game looks a lot better than what they are showing here. As for the 360 version, I couldn't tell you because I haven't seen it, but what I can say for sure with the utmost certainty is that these PS3 version screens have either been doctored or taken from a crappy tv with standard hookups....definitely not what I am seeing when I play it.
I picked up my PS3 version and threw it in and it looks a hell of a lot better than any of the screens I've seen in these comparison threads....Playing it on my Sony Bravia and it looks pretty sharp...all of these screens were either taken from an inferior TV or they have been doctored. Haven't seen the 360 version running yet...so I can't comment on that, but rest assured that if you grab the ps3 version and have the HDMI set up on a decent TV you will be very happy with what you...
I always liked the virtual on series on Sega's machines...the Saturn and Dreamcast versions were some of my favorite games (PS2 version was OK as well....liked the PS2 dualshock controller for it...twin sticks on the dualshock were sweet). Hope they consider a PS3 version for the controller alone.
the game really doesn't look any different from Halo 3 to be honest. They should've just called it "Halo 3 : The New Multiplayer Maps Game (with some skins and slightly changed modes)". Not impressive at all really...at least not to someone who isn't a blind zealot to their console of choice.
Let's just hope they are smart enough to include the original theatrical releases along with the polished remastered releases of the original trilogy and not "milk the cow" like New Line is trying to do with the Lord of the Rings blu-ray set by just releasing the theatrical cuts first and then the extended versions a year later... :)
explains the 360's sales lead :) LOL See the link to understand...

Sega really does need to throw it's hat back in the ring... Where are the new Hi Def versions of Daytona, Burning Rangers, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shining Force, Skies of Arcadia, Dragon Force, and So many other titles...... Wishful thinking I know, but it would be sweet :)
I felt Heavenly Sword's moveset and controls were very well done, and once you mastered the timing and nuance of the fighting system a lot of extremely stylish azz-kickin' would commence and it was a sight to behold....my only beef with Heavenly Sword was the lack of a jump button...everything else was simply perfect....highly underrated game. Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Ninja Gaiden and Bayonetta are all very similar style games, at least to me...and Heavenly Sword belongs more in the vein of ...
"because they know that Heavenly Sword 2 is coming and that they will be irrelevant when it does."--@Darrius--- I think you mean UNTIL it does instead of when it does.... Heavenly Sword 2 would fair much better now that there isn't so much PS3 hate out there...the first one released at a terrible time in the PS3's history. Now that it has proven itself to be the leader and trend-setter in terms of gameplay and graphics, I think that Heavenly Sword 2 would have a much larger audien...
compared to the others she should be on the top of the list and then the first Tomb Raider Chick and then followed by the fake Sailor Moon chick.......why am I typing about this again???.....hmmmm gonna go make a quick life assessment LOL :)
Ahh, so Sony missed the opportunity to buy the game for themselves then (forgot all about Midway's troubles).....DOH :( Was such a great game on Dreamcast...guess I could break it out of the attic and hook it up.....just a shame to put those old systems on the Bravia though :(
I have the Extended Editions on DVD and would love to have it on blu-ray...releasing it in theatrical version only was a huge mistake....blu-ray could have easily held 2 versions of each film on a single disc.....guess I will wait another year or so, until they release it correctly. What a letdown :(
he is saying he wants FF VII, VIII and IX done in HD for the PSN (disagrees on that make no sense??)...the same way that XBLA did it for the Banjo Kazooie game. I'm all for that.
Is there a chance this will go to PSN or is the Money Hat Machina at work again?

What I took from the ending of the game was that what Athena wanted from Krato's was the power over "hope" or people's "free will". With that she could easily take Zeus's plac...
Screen tearing? Heavenly Sword is an amazing game right in league with God of War III and it was released years before. Both games are very good, one just had a following and one was a new IP that cameout at a lowpoint in the PS3's history....they need to make a sequal to Heavenly Sword and keep that amazing franchise going.... God of War is amazing game as well, but Heavenly Sword deserves way more credit than it recieved.
The main 2 things that the 360 did is delay the launch and allow for an inferior version of the game to be a reality. All core Final Fantasy games have a linear story and this one is proving to be one of my favorites in the series. The new combat system is fresh and a lot of fun to play. The native 1080p graphics on the PS3 look amazing on my bravia tv and I have no complaints. The point of this article ... well there is none... written from the short-bus point of view and is basically th...
No such reasons exist.......do they? I mean.....come on :)
