You and me both friend...I am on the One X and I tried with the Xbox controller and even tried on my ps4 controller(which I am more comfortable with) and still couldn't do it
I don't even mind the save system...but that lockpicking...Jesus Christ. I tried for an hour to open up an "easy" lock and I just gave up. I am no longer going to try to lockpick until that system is fixed. I have been gaming for 30 years now and never ran into a system I could not figure out or do(well maybe that level in battletoads was similarly frustrating...but I was younger at the time)
When this game plays without issues its phenomenal...but I have had more crashes than I would like, npcs being headless and my horse getting stuck in a fence...I also loathe the lockpicking...but all this can be fixed and once it is...this game will be so great
Agreed. I am very hyped for the game and pre ordered...but 22 gigs? I am still downloading and havent been able to play and I have had it since launch(bad internet). Maybe I will get to play some after work but I am sick and tired of day one patches. Its almost like some games just send whatever code they have to be put on discs to say its available for "physical release" and then just anticipate fixing it later.
How many other systems has this game come to since 2013??? I mean if you havent played it yet you were born in the year 2013 or gaming is a new hobby

While I pre ordered the game and am still downloading the day one patch(crappy net) this game isn't a 10 and this is a number given to generate "buzz"

If this were from a big developer I would agree with you, I gave it a purchase because its a small studio who tried to do an ambitious thing.
Can you play this without the patch? I am on xbox one x and have it installed via the disc, everytime I go to play it tells me I have to install the 21 gigs(will take me days). Can I just unplug the internet or am I forced to download?
Okay answered my own question...yeah just unplug the internet...im stupid. Oh well we will see how buggy this is without the patch after a few errands

Having been a Playstation gamer since the early PS1 days, I picked up Halo 5 and Gears 4 on the One X...Halo 5 was just meh...but I really enjoyed the Gears 4 story...I may even have to pick up the Ultimate Edition on amazon(currently sitting at 27 dollars) to get the first 4 games.

These companies rely on patches far too much in this day and age. Its getting old an annoying. Obviously people are going to want to play the updated version since it is supposed to be better so what @archangelmike claims really holds no weight. I have a crap country dsl connection and 23 gigs will take 3 days to download...so I can't just run a few quests while the patch the running.
I realize this is not an issue for most places, but until internet has some what stand...

Kiwami 2 will probably be released a year from 6....or around 16-18 months from the Japanese version. If you want to play it...wait for the crazy prices to come down on amazon...and import it. Salty Yen is a wonderful translator and you can watch his youtube videos for story explanation while you are playing through the game. I have done that with Ishin and 6.
Dead Souls was released in the West as well... The only two that were not were Ishin and the other historical one(whose name I cannot remember)
