If you launch a game and have to remind people content will be added later(right away).. .. It should be considered "early access" and be $30 dollars at most.
I feel bad wasting my two weeks of free game pass(which means I played the game for nothing and felt ripped off) to try SoT because it was so dull and lacking content.
Where do people get the idea that most console gamers are going digital? Is there some source here other than you and a few of your bros preferring it?
No, plenty of people still have bad Internet and data caps, until this is taken care of all digital is not feasible.
A flamethrower!!!! Yay the worst weapon in the game!!
Really hope it's like WD2 and not the original... WD2 was the right kind of goofy.
Sony owns the rights to Spiderman, don't know why people are acting like this is a revelation.
I too believe competition drives competitiveness and hope Microsoft can recover, but it starts with getting rid of Phil
As a One X owner, I enjoy the system for 3rd party games...but as a newer Microsoft owner(Sony gamer since ps1) Microsoft has to get rid of Phil Spencer and any other "yes" men they have at the top. Its clear these guys don't get the console market. Its been about 4 years since Phil took over(which is more than enough time to have made progress in the exclusive market).
Agreed, I get that there are some very influential devs in Japan, but Japan is small. Microsoft should leave those islands to Sony and Nintendo as you stated and focus on conquering Europe or other parts of Asia.
I actually feel bad I used my 2 weeks of free gamepass for this game. I was really hyped but this game was a big let down for me. This content shouldn't be announced 2 weeks after the game launched, it should have been in a game with a 4 year development cycle.
This add as you go mentality is really getting aggravating anymore, if the game is not complete don't charge full price and call it early access.
Its not a gimmick, but it is a gimmick now. The technology isn't there yet but sometime in the future it could be. This is why I never even bothered with the device, maybe around the Playstation 6 era it will be worth owning.
All the situations you described are a form of "escapism" The vast majority of gamers aren't going to do the things you stated in real life hence the "escapism"
Hearing people bitch and moan about politics is something people deal with everyday. Its not "weak" minded to want to shut that off and have fun with a hobby.
Must be nice to be such an elite!
Nobody is scared of it, EVERYONE is sick of it. Turn on the TV...its politics(I try not to even watch ESPN anymore because they can't keep politics out of sports for crying out loud)...video games are hobbies...I don't want the real world garbage and someone's opinions of politics in my video gaming. Not to mention if you inject politics into video games you run the risk of alienating half the audience(which is not a smart business move).
When the next gen of systems come out you are in for a treat my friend(and yes I am sure someone was playing with these settings on PC 12 years ago...just talking consoles)!
While I am playing on the One X and it looks amazing...I am sure this game is fun on every system and everyone is enjoying it!
Learn how to craft an insult. The Nazis were pretty much the most technologically advanced people of their time, so the way you used it was just stupid.
Either way there are plenty of people without good Internet in this day and age to go all digital.
It will be the first playstation console that I will not buy if it doesn't have a disc drive.
While my current rural internet sucks(and it took forever to download), Gears 4 on the One X was simply impressive
Phil Spencer has to be replaced. He has been at the helm for four years now and really has nothing to show for it.
Some professional coaches don't even get two years before they are canned for poor performance.
I love my One X as it allows me to play 3rd party games that look and play really well, but Phil has no vision or ideas for console games and has just turned into a talking head hype man for the brand.
