difference is tetsuya nomura wants it to be ps3 only on this game, though in the end the president has the final say. but eitherway its built for the ps3 and will look, play and run best on the ps3 even if it was on the 360 with 4 discs in Sub hd

at a technical aspect its a ps2 or gamecube game.
you forget HD makes everything take forever, one of reasons FF Versus is taking a while. full hd massive world maps with a non generic western world. not easy to do on current gen games, Xenoblade is awesome though, woulda loved to see an HD Xenosaga game :( i want my HD Kos-mos :(
