I was 100% happy with everything they were doing until they said there was only three story lines. Granted its one per difficulty per driver. I still liked the variation in the stories. I dont think its enough to put me off of buying it however. It still looks badass to play.
Commando had to be the most frustrating thing for me when I played. Getting knifed by a guy that you put a shotgun round into point blank shouldn't ever happen. One Man Army noob tubing got on my nerves but nowhere near as much as commando did.
I enjoyed it early on but that stuff starting getting to me to the point I only played because my friends did and I wanted to play with them. Once the DLC hit and I saw the price I had enough and traded it in for Red Dead Redemption...
I like both sets of cars, I'm still holding out on my pre-order until I see all the bonus cars though =)
World of Warcraft is the winner for me, 214 days of played time before I decided to take a break. Havn't decided if I'm gonna keep playing or not. The closest to WoW for me would probably be GTA: San Andreas.
I think I will enjoy it as long as the DLC isn't overpriced. We'll have to see if I still want it in a month or so. Lots of shooters to choose from right now so if they want my money they better impress. The rest of my cash is going to other games like GT5, Fallout: New Vegas, and FFXIII Versus.
I like stronger flavors when I play my games, I'm a big fan of skittles and starburst and a red hot fireball keeps me on edge when playing an FPS online. The fireballs make me twitchier and jumpier and I always seem to perform a little better when I feel like I'm on fire lol.
I still enjoy them, though I'm more likely to borrow and loan them with friends than buy every single one that sounds good. I own KZ2, had MW2 for a while but traded it in for Red Dead Redemption after I found out the prices for the DLC, I'll probably get COD: Black Ops or the Medal of Honor reboot and I'm definately getting KZ3. Nothing else really interest me as of late. I'm looking forward to GT5, Fallout:New Vegas, and Final Fantasy XIII Versus. I don't think they are ...
I agree. I really wish they would make another battlefront for consoles and PC though...Those were my favorites.
It was his baby right?
I loved these games. I really enjoyed the first two. They made you think and strategize all while in a wonderfully original world that is humorous and quirky. I can't wait to see Abe again.
EDIT: Spelling.
When Red Dead Redemption came out I saw the trade in deal where you could trade in any two games on a list and pay only $20 for a preorder. So I traded in MW2 and AVP but the guy at the counter said he could get me a deal. I stood there and he did a few things on the register and said it'll be $6. After looking at the receipt I noticed I only paid the tax. Whatever he did got me Red Dead Redemption for a little more than the total tax. It just said Bonus with a percentage on the receipt t...
LMAO that really made me laugh. Bubble for you.
They say this because of the extra heat generated when in reality its not something you really need to worry about. If you wanna go 7200RPM like I did and are worried there is several things you can do to address the heat issue. I replaced the thermal paste. Which if you have a fat ps3 you should do anyway because the thermal paste sony used isn't that great. I recommend IC7 thermal paste. Depending on your model you can also upgrade your fan to move more air. I only recommend doing thes...
I agree having the warranty is awesome but I just got the thing... This was my first xbox and this isn't a very good first impression. I still have my fat ps3 but I buy an xbox so my wife can play kinect dance or whatever its called and this happens. It looked like a waste of money before but when my wife showed interest in the games on kinect I thought it would open her up to the world of gaming. Then the first thing I buy for her dies...
Their is a difference though, my xbox starts for a second and then it shuts off and the dot turns red. Like its trying to boot up.
Mine just did this too. I've been looking for another person to have this problem so that I would know I'm not alone. Microsoft keeps suggesting the same thing unplug everything and let it cool. I don't think it's the power brick because I borrowed my buddies when I heard that could be the issue and it didn't help any. Anyone have any other ideas?
The core fighters are there, thats what matters to me. Though I am curious as to what the DLC will contain and for what price. Will it just be characters or more maps as well? Maybe new modes? The biggest question of course is the price. Never hurts to make the first DLC free. Either way I am interested in this game, looks to be the best one as of late.
I agree with everything this article says 100%. I really wish game companies wouldn't shaft their own customers. Throw us a bone for paying for your games, don't screw me over with anti-piracy software. I bought the damn thing!
Some of my fondest memories of gaming was coming home from school with a few of my buddies and popping in a Twisted Metal game. We would play split screen and take turns getting on top of buildings and getting awesome power ups to pummel the AI, or go head to head. Man that game was the shit! Graphics weren't that important it was the game play that kept us entertained.
I'm hoping this pays homage to the Twisted Metal game play that got me into the series, graphical beauty is...
It's been too long since the mudokins have been a central part of my gaming experience.
