Some games are worse than others to play on an SDTV but all games should be tested and adjusted for several display types such as SDTV, HDTV, and whatever comes along in the future(UltraHD?). I understand SDTVs are being phased out but lets face it a good chunk of people aren't up to speed especially with the recession.
I was lucky enough to find a girl that was introduced to gaming with games like Diablo, Tekken, and Devil May Cry. I'd say find what things she is into rather than throwing kids games at her and hoping she is entertained.
It's not that bad. I think most will agree MAG isn't a graphical powerhouse. I haven't the slightest idea why you are comparing the two anyways. It's really good quality for an XBox game.
Well this just jumped to my most anticipated game of 2011. I would have been happy with a few little improvements but this is just overwhelming! Damn it Guerilla, you get my hopes up and fulfill them, then you go out of your way to show me the little things I wanted were just the start and you had a whole bunch more goodies for your fans. I'm kind of stunned as the awesomeness just leaves me speechless. I want to play this soooo BADLY!
I like what I see so far. I hope they will tone it back compared to MW2. I trust Treyarch more than IW to do the series right. Although I'm not 100% sure I'm gonna purchase it yet. You should definitely play the first two. Both were great games and I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys games.

I loved the claustrophic feel too it, straight up urban warfare. Nowhere to go but towards death(A bunch of angry Helghast). I have nothing against Halo though. It's cool you guys are getting an upgrade to what you have enjoyed playing. Hoping they give you guys a good long and challenging campaign to play through too.
I'll get it but I'm not gonna pay $60 for one campaign. Blizzard will drop the price around the time the expansion comes out. I might pick it up then or wait for a bundle deal. I think I'd rather play through it all at once if possible. People will still be playing this one for at least ten years just like the last one so no big hurry for me =)
You didn't even play the campaign? How can you know it's all about graphics then? Your arguments are all over the place dude. Sounds like you don't like anything really after reading your rant. Sounds like its coming sooner than later then. I'm not someone that has to have XGC but I wouldn't mind it. I'd probably use it but like I said I don't absolutely need it. I know a couple of my XBox friends said they'd buy a PS3 if it got XGC I'll see if I can hold them to their word lol. I'm assuming they didn't actually think it would ever happen.
Totally agree with ya there. I'd be kinda upset with M$ this year after that E3. Sony as of late has really been heating up, might even say they are on fire when it comes to hardcore games.
IDK if Halo wipes the floor with any other shooter as of late. The start of the series was great and I don't think there would be an XBox without the series but there are a lot of other shooters I would rather play than Halo.

Thats just my main character too. Although with WoW a lot could be idle time too... I still probably shouldn't give anymore of my life to that game.
I still like playing games on my console or computer way more than any handheld or phone I have ever had. There is just something about the home theater experience when it comes to games that smartphones and handhelds don't have. I'm not saying the games are bad or anything but I love big screen gaming too much. As long as there is people like me I don't see consoles disappearing.
