I love my vita since the Japanese launch but I doubt it will be a mainstream hit at this point.
Is it bad to remain a relevant niche? Probably not.
I was still very disappointed by E3 this year....if Gamescon, Sony has officially moved on all first party studios to PS4.
That doesn't mean there won't be plenty of things to play...just little of Uncharted caliber.
Just bought Dino Crisis 1-2...for 2bucks.
I agree...the tank controls are pretty painful now...and so are the graphics.
But at least its dinosaurs :/
Why lol? Does it really make you laugh?....out loud?
Trolls are funny :)
I would love Heavenly Sword 2...but the guy didn't really say anything :/
If only they could make a sequel....
I would love it on Vita :( I know it will never happen though.
Maybe PS3 ala Ratchet and Clank? Release with the new movie?
He is obviously VERY smart....I shat my pants the first time I hear his Japanese.
Guy is FLUENT...better than 90% of foreigners...
He earned my respect immediately.
Well...someone should be hostile and force them to make the games gamers actually want to buy.
Release Monster Hunter vita and have a million seller easily....then a scary resident evil 7, then a next gen Downloadable (as in not 60bucks) Mega man, next gen street fighter without ridiculous DLC.
I'm glad to live in Japan and see people playing Vitas on the train every single game.
It does seem to remain very hardcore though...
Most women play mobile "puzzle games" now with Disney characters...
Most kids play 3DS...youkai watch is on FIRE right now.
I think the Vita is absolutely amazing and I think big part of its niche status is the life and market changes.
People who drive have little...
I doubt it...but it would be great to play my PS3 games on PS4 and Vita (hopefully!).
Seems like Sony is really trying to make this a success...I hope they manage to come with a proper business model...something that Japanese companies have failed to do in the past.
People still rent DVDs around here!!! (In Tokyo).
I gotta agree with him. Nintendo had a surprisingly good showing (IMO).
I haven't owned a Nintendo system since the SNES but the WiiU has some tempting software coming...
I bought my PS4 day one and I don't regret it because I know games are coming...after 2015 apparently.
For ME to buy it it would only take a gamepadless WiiU for 150...its hardly cutting edge so I imagine its doable.
I haven't had a Nintendo system since the NES but MK8 looks amazing!
This was a tough one for me. I remember being ubderwhelmed after it finished.
Then reviewed the contents later toda anf Im actually quite happy.
-The Order coming un February (earlier than I thought).
-Remake of Ratchet and Clank.
-Small glimpse of Uncharted.
-Little Big Planet 3 in November (wtf?!?).
I am very disappointed of the Vita showing though....I live my vita and expected at least a reveal or two.
Remember that little thing called Vita? You made it....with love :'(
I would totally buy it but I think they should rebrand it....many people have a bad (and wrong) image of the first.
My biggest concern is the character selection....seriously...Zeus and no Crash?
I know licensing issues are to blame....but wtf.
This is just silly....I'm a PlayStation owner...but still...
We have the best version anyway :p
Because releasing on Vita would make too much sense!!!....
Seriously, coming soon to Linux servers.
#whybother
And then with the power of the cloud!!?...BOOM!...1080p!!
I would much rather a Vita version...or a sequel.
I think it looks great on PS3 as it is...specially the 3D!!! The curtains look amazing!
Same in Japan.
The Japanese PSN shows no sign of PSNow....I went to the US PSN and it is there.
It even gladly let me pay for a rental and confirm it...just not play it :/
