No, it isn't bad logic. It made them a lot of money. It's anti-consumer as heck, and it shouldn't be happening, but people jumped on the band-wagon because of FOMO. It's evil, but effective for them. I don't even own a Switch and I considered buying the collection because of FOMO, because I might get a Switch someday and it seemed like a nice game collection to have. Glad I didn't. If you want Nintendo to stop doing this, don't buy games like these that are only av...

Hello, Mr. American
No.
Actually, the worst thing about the BASE ps4 version was that the game ran at an unlocked framerate but was never able to reach 60fps and always ran somewhere between 30 and 55, with no adaptive sync technology enabled of any kind. I hate playing my games at 30fps, but I'll tolerate it for exclusives I can't play on PC. However, unlocked frames on consoles without adaptive sync makes the experience SO much worse than just playing at 30fps locked.
The constant 60fps ...
@RgR Why don't you go tell all of this to my very young and healthy friend, who's had the flu many many times, who just woke up from a covid coma?
Also: "Scared of covid? Stay home and wear your mask" - a bit hard when companies are forcing their employees to come into the office, ain't it?
Masks work and are important. Don't listen to this guy, people. Stay home, wear masks if you have to leave, keep your distance, stay safe.
Strikes me as crazy that all everybody says is "how could they do this to the players, what kind of developer doesn't do this and that", when there was a freakin' fire and people could have died.
In Undertale.
60fps is the minimum for all games. If the game can't maintain 60fps and MUST be locked to 30, that's when you know that you need to buy a PC and play the real version of the game. 30fps in games feels AWFUL.
@RaidenBlack Demon's Souls is currently a system seller, so that one is not coming to PC anytime soon. It's currently the only title that is remotely enticing ME personally to maybe buy a PS5 in the future.
Some (most gamers, actually) just can't handle valid criticism of games that they love. If one of their favourite games are ever criticised, it's as if the critic hates video games in general. Maybe you should actually try and listen to the things people are criticising about the game. Ratchet and Clank for PS4 isn't bad because it's new, and we don't dislike it because we can't handle new things, but because it has real problems.
The problem with the sentiment that all games should have an easy mode is that certain games are just designed around a specific difficulty. These days I get easily frustrated when I have to pick a difficulty in games. Part of me wants to power through hard mode and be challenged, but games that aren't designed with one specific difficulty in mind often have a really hard time striking that perfect balance between fairness and complete bullshit at higher difficulties. But From Software...
@Rachel_Alucard Interesting. Where did you find this imgur photo? I can't find anything substantial when I google "judgement steam leak".
Sorry, where did the Steam version of Judgement leak?
Control is an extremely well-optimised game on PC, and the most well-optimised ray traced game on the market currently. If he has a 2070 I'd believe him if he said he could play it at 60fps with ray tracing and DLSS on a lot or some of the time. I get 80+ fps with ray tracing and DLSS with a 3070.
@Foxtrot
What are you talking about? Shit reviews? Half-Life: Alyx has a 93 on metacritic. Because its' amazing.
Hear!
I feel like they missed their chance to make a Copenhagen (or generally Denmark) based map, considering they're a Danish developer located in Copenhagen. Not a lot of people really know about our country - when most people think "Scandinavia" they immediately think "Sweden" - so it would have been an obvious chance to bring some awareness to our country :) Maybe for the DLC?
Switch doesn't really need 4K support for docked mode imo, let alone handheld, at least not for games. Maybe video playback only. I have doubts that a handheld will be up to snuff with this generation of consoles anyway, so performance in 4K will never exceed 30fps, if it will even be able to maintain 30 at all. Make use of smaller resolutions for higher frames imo. Unless Nintendo's hardware can actually keep up, stick to 1440p max. Do have at least 1080p in handheld mode, though, pl...
I either want to see a new Jack and Daxter, or some completely new IP from Naughty Dog. I was never the biggest fan of Uncharted or TLOU. Would love to see them return to something a bit more cartoony, whacky, futuristic action with platforming elements. I want to see modern ND spin on that formula again.
