What really bothers me the most is that alot of people forget that Halo 1 was a launch title for the xbox and it was amazing what bungie accomplished. Fast forward to today, you look at Halo 3 (not a launch title) and it's not pushing any boundaries on the 360. It's just more of the same and that's a shame.

Yeah it took the 360 almost 2 years 2 produce 3 great games. (Gears, Bioshock, and Halo 3) Ps3 has been out for 9 months and it has produced Resistance, Motorstorm, Lair, Warhawk, and Heavenly Sword. I can not wait for this game. This is how you update a franchise to next gen. (Halo 3 i'm looking at you)
No one in there right mind would have thought this game would receive low scores. Halo is a proven franchise and people that have played the first two knew what to expect: Great single player mode, Great online, with no great graphical improvements, no innovative gameplay, and the same gameplay as the first two.
i'm sorry but Halo is not the god of gaming. People are making such a big deal about this game, but in reality, the only people that care are Xbox 1 owners. Halo 3 will most likely be a good game, but if you look past the hype, this game is only a marginal improvement over the first two.
Halo 1 & 2 didn't make that big of a difference for the first xbox so why do you think that Halo 3 will make such a big difference for the 360. I'm not saying that halo 3 will be a bad game because its not but it really isn't that much of an improvement over the first two.

I am disappointed ng2 doesn't look that much better then sigma. You would think that all this time they have been developing this game they could have developed something better then this. It looks like they took the sigma engine and just added more blood and decapitation. I was expecting more from them.
